"She feels like everything I’ve been missing in my life. She feels like mine.”
Excuse me while I swoon and smile again over the perfection that is Grady Miller. We spent four books getting to know this guy and he’s always been the loudest, wildest and most inappropriate character in the series. And yet, when his own book comes around, you really learn just how incredibly special he is. It’s impossible to hate or even dislike Miller, because he’s a cinnamon roll puppy and he’s so sweet. In Scoring Chance, you’ll find:✨ hockey players!✨ a donut making, romance writing, mid-size sassy heroine✨ a mouthy, charming, hockey playing virgin hero✨ amazing friendships✨ banter, flirting, chemistry and some tension✨ low drama, high heat✨ slow burns for days!Miller and Scout brought me so much joy. I loved watching these two become friends most of all, but their romance and the slow build of their relationship was the kind of stuff that I love in all my love stories. If you read Sin Bin , then you already know that Miller makes a mess of his ‘first official’ meeting with Scout after having spent months eating at her donut truck. But the way he grovels to show her that she is all he sees and that he wants them to be friends was so much fun. Miller’s got this charming cockiness to him that I don’t think would work for most characters, but he’s all golden retriever energy in a hot hockey player body and much like Scout, I was ready to forgive him for his transgressions a long time ago.The way they make each other feel is something so special. Miller’s life has revolved around hockey all of his life and he’s never experienced the simple things in high school and otherwise. He’s not ashamed of being a virgin and he doesn’t know what he’s missing out on in life till Scout plants herself in his circle. The time they spend together, the way they bond and connect. The little things that Scout does for Miller and all the big things he does for her. It was all so perfect. Where Miller has lived a sheltered life, Scout’s living half her life. After the death of her father and the end of a relationship, Scout’s dedicated her whole life to her donut truck. But the minute Miller walks in, it’s like she starts seeing everything else the world has to offer. And together, they navigate all the things they missed while falling hopelessly in love with each other.I loved how Miller saw Scout, how he sees her insecurities and the things she considers flaws as the most beautiful parts of her. I loved that he reminded her of those things constantly too. And Scout did the same for Miller, showing him that he’s so much more than just a hockey player and a virgin, that he has so much more to offer. I predicted the conflict and I definitely didn’t like it, but I think it was necessary to really shake these two up. I think the only thing that irked me was the way Greer handled Miller’s virginity truth bomb, I like Greer, but seeing the way he responded to this made me scowl at him a whole lot. So he’s going to have to redeem himself a whole lot!

Grady Fan here
SCORING CHANCE By Teagan HunterGrady Miller is an NHL Hockey player who at the age of 24 is still a virgin. Scout owns a food truck where all the hockey players frequently visit. Scout has a huge crush on Grady but later hates his guts when he fails to recognise her at a party.😊What i liked -✔ Sport Romance/Virgin Hero/Older FMC/Rom-Com/He Falls First.✔ Firstly, I totally connected with Grady. (Dude you are not alone , though you don't stay as you know what for long. )✔ I absolutely loved Grady's character. He is sweet, cute, hot, sexy and insanely funny when nervous.✔ The chemistry between Scout and Grady was oooo la la . I loved their conversations on texts.✔ Loved Macie, total firecracker. I actually loved all the side characters.✔ It's cute, funny, steamiliciously spicy.🤔What could have been better -✔ Either I got blurry eyed and missed Macie's dad's name or it was not mentioned to create curiosity, which it did. I really wanted to know more. 📚Who Should read :👶Beginners💝Romance Lovers🏒Sports Romance Lovers📈My Rating : 4/5P.s- So this is the fifth book in the series but can be read as a standalone too.Thank you Teagan Hunter and Valentine PR for a copy.

Enjoyed it from start-to-finish!
Scoring Chance is, for sure, the sporty hockey rom-com you're looking for this season! I had been waiting for Miller's book since the beginning of the series, and was hoping that Scout would get one too...Teagan granted both of these wishes of mine with Scoring Chance. 😍 The humour, the wit and the banter between these pages reminded me of how much I love the Carolina Comets.Grady Miller is witty, swoony and so lovable that you'll fall for his charm from the beginning.I loved his character throughout the book.He makes it impossible not to.While Scout is sweet, kind and everything you could wish for in a heroine.Their dynamic will make you laugh and fall in love. These two have a cute, fun and super enjoyable romance that'll have you grinning all the way.I'll never tire of these characters and can't imagine letting them go. The supporting characters are who bring this book together.5/5 stars!I can't wait for the next book.

Swoony read😍
Back to the Comets after a long wait and it was worth it. Grady was like a breath of fresh air being a virgin when everyone assumed him to be a player. I was swooning over him and how he wanted everything to be meaningful after watching his teammates.Grady and Scout are one of the sweetest couple and they cracked me up. I loved how Grady was groveling around Scout to win her friendship. The way their relationship developed was so realistic and genuine that it's easy to connect to them.Grady is much more than a hockey player and what I expected. He is sweet with the biggest heart who supports and respects everyone. And the chemistry between them is smoking hot.Scout is strong, sweet, charming and independent but has her own insecurities and griefs. I loved her character development how she evolved to be best of herself although, I was so damn upset with her for hurting Grady despite understanding her reasoning.I felt there should have been a complete scene of Grady confronting his parents. It's amazing how all these people in team support each other. I'm desperately waiting for Greer's book. Thanks to Valentine Promotions and Teagan for the advanced copy for a honest review.

This book reminds me of the song Stumblin' In
This song is epitome of young love for me.Sweet, clumsy at first, all-consuming, enthusiastic, unrestricted and open. It's all what a love should be.A kind of love it's refreshing to read about, a kind of love Grady Miller effortlessly brings on pages.Miller, who was called 'dense' by his teammates so many times in previous stories, oh, but let me laugh on that. Because he comes to scene and shows all those guys - who spent most of time in torturous denial - how it's done.Yes, he is crazy and over the top, but it is the sweetest kind if craziness. He is a true romance hero, with talent to say the right thing at the right time to his lady. And Scout brings out the best side of him, devoted and caring, with an unexpected intensity.Days after, I still keep smiling and singing:)'I'm falling for you, whatever you do'Cause baby, you've shown me so many things that I never knewWhatever it takes, baby, I'll do it for youOur love is alive, and so we beginFoolishly laying our hearts on the tableStumblin' in'

Witty, Charming, heartwarming and a Must Read!
So I have been reading this series by Teagan Hunter and have loved each one… but this one by far takes the cake. Scout and Grady are my absolute favourites! Both are full of sass and their witty banter pulls the reader into their relationship so well!Scout is this on the outside timid, self-reliant business owner who doesn’t have the best self-esteem… she struggles with loving herself and who she is but is able to overcome that through the help and eyes of Grady. While Grady Miller is the famous hockey player with the Carolina Comets… his defence mechanism is sarcasm and deflection through comments and being an excessive flirt. Even though he’s absolutely hopeless when it comes to dating and women in general. Both of the characters complement each other so well, and push the storyline! An absolute must read and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one in their series! 💕

HELL YES SCOUT 👏🏼
Okay as soon as I saw the sparks I knew this was going to be incredible! Scout deserved that whole hearted love that, let’s face it, we knew miller could provide. He fell hard and fast at smiths party and you could see how determined he was to prove to scout she deserved the love she always dreamed of, these two are powerful and full force and just.. swoon worthy.. absolutely incredible! 😍🍩☕️

I’m a Comets’ fan!
Since the very first book. I fell in love with this universe and these stories just keep getting better! Miller, that over the top idiot, stole my heart. Their story is filled with growth and trust and Scout was just what this excited 24 yo needed to settle down! Teagan Hunter gets rom-com. Her humour is delicious. Add to that the fact that it’s obvious she loves the game… it makes for the perfect mix for hockey rom coms!
