New Stens Hose Reel 758-740 4000 PSI Max 3/8 Inlet, Black

This seems to be the cheapest quality option out there. It also comes with a 90 degree bend already installed on the reel (saves a few bucks), which is nice. I had to add a second 3/8" street elbow to get the hose to route cleanly into the spindle., but it's not 100% necessary. I use it with the 50ft uberflex hose. It could easily fit 100ft if needed. Just a note, when adding fittings, use pipe tape and thread sealer and tighten the fittings all the way, there should only be 1 or 2 threads that remain visible. I learned this the hard way and had to disassemble and retighten all of the leaking joints. The fittings on the reel itself were fine and did not leak at all.Note - the first one I got was scraping on the spindle lock mechanism and was removing paint, seems like a manufaturing defect. I returned it and the replacement rotated fine without scratching.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to use. When reeling up, stays straight. Great price.

So I just put the handle on to see if my hose would fit because I couldn't find anything on the web that would indicate my 100ft 1/4 in hose would fit on the 3/8 inch 50 ft reel. i saw some posts about 200ft of 1/4 inch fitting on 100ft reel of 3/8 so i gave this a shot. And it worked beautifully. may look a lttle sloppy but that's only because i couldn't guide the hose whle holding the reel with one hand and reeling it in with the other.I'm only giving 4 stars because the bag of nuts and bolts was ripped open and I had to go find some washers. Also, would've been nice if they included a 3/8 inch male to M22 fitting for the hookup. I had to order one and it won't come until tomorrow :-( The thing seems like a sturdy enough piece of steel, so unless something really crazy happens, I don't think I'll be updating this review. Pretty good deal for the money based on what I've seen elsewhere.

Got it today, bought as new according to description. I opened it up and theirs wear marks on the threads, bags of hardware with holes, and signs of plumbers tape in the threads. This has been used by someone then repackaged and sold as new. Typical bait & switch.

Actually sturdier than I expected! This item gets remarketed under several brands with a few cosmetic differences. The very stiff OEM black rubber hose that came with my pressure washer wound onto the reel nicely so this really makes managing the line much easier! Like has been mentioned in reviews of the similar products, the reason for geometry of the hose attachment is a mystery made difficult to work around since the elbow fitting is bonded to the pipe making it hard to adjust... Amz description states 4000 psi, the included little booklet says 3000 psi?
