We chose the thickest one- 4 or 5 inches. but t was way too high. So high that it threw off the fit of the recliner, and our heads were too high on the head rest, So after a few hours there was pretty bad back and neck pain! The pad is not defective, it’s so firm I can’t see it squashing down at all, it was just too high. Wish I could saw it in half laterally and it would be perfect. Should have gone with the 2 or 3 inch one. The actual pad is very well made- it’s a very well foam piece, very firm and the zip around cover is well made too. The thing looks like one of the 3 seats you might have on a couch. I recommend it if your seat is 5” too low or you are very Little and need a boost. Could have used this at the dining table when I was a little kid- and my parents had me sitting of a couple of phone book. (If you don’t know what a phone book is, you are too young! )

Pretty solid, keeps you at the raised height, to get back up easier, doesn’t squish down, need a softer pillow on top to make it comfortable.

I have very bad sciatic pain when I sit and thought this padding would help. It did not. It is a very nice cushion and does fit beautifully in my recliner but it’s so thick that I have a hard time getting out of the chair because I have to Scooch myself to the edge of the seat in order to get up. Also, despite the padding, it does not prevent the sciatic pain. Fortunately, I have a chair that I love tremendously. It has a cushion that desperately needs to be replaced. This fit perfectly.

I have an old recliner and was becoming hard to get out of chair- I was sitting on 2 bed pillows to raise seat but not adequate- this new cushion is perfect height and makes it easier too get up out of chair. I am 80 y.o.

This cushion gives me the height l need to get onand off my chair. It's great.

This cushion is perfect! My husband needed it to go in his lift chair, and it fits perfectly and feels great.

Love the cushion, but don’t like the cover! It is valour and it is impossible for me to get into my chair with the cushion on it because I stick to the velour and can’t move around in my recliner to get really comfortable. If the top was a bit different fabric, then this cover would be perfect. It doesn’t move at all in my leather chair because of the nonslip bottom. So I will try to put a top cover on this cushion to see how it will work. The cushion does make my chair so comfortable if I can get help getting into it for now. Would highly recommend it for taller people, I’m 5’5”. Very well made. Took one star off for the valour inconvenience. Thank you.

Cushion itself is comfortable and provides extra height. Since my chair is a rocker / recliner it did not really benefit me as I wait for hip surgery.

Spending most of my day in a wheelchair and upholstered chair, I have constant struggles with sores. After wearing down the seat cushion in my EZ-chair, I was desperate to find another cushion that could provide enough support.The 5 inch seniors cushion has been amazing and has helped to give me enough support. And the gray cover is fantastic! Great material and well made.. Don't hesitate on this one!
