Decent knife
I am no chef by any means, but I like knives. Solid knife, pretty sturdy, easy to maneuver. Its sharp enough after a few uses, might have to pick up sharpening techniques for my own.

Nice Knife for Cutting Meat
This knife is exactly as pictured. It's super sharp right out of the box and comes with it's own sheath to store it in. It also comes with a nice cloth for drying it. We used this to slice our Christmas roast and it was like slicing through butter. Seriously sharp and pretty much the nicest knife I've used and made cutting the meat slightly fun? lol It feels nice in the hand and is easy to hold and use. It's a quality knife and with the price and would make a really nice gift for any of the men in your life or if you have a friend or family member who is a chef. My oldest son is a chef so I see a knife gift for him in the future. :)

Sharp cutting knife that looks awesome
My dad used to be a boy scout and he always used to tell us stories of his days in the scouts. From gathering badges, to camping in the woods and the jamborees where thousands would get together for campfires, forest games and competition. While he was in the scouts for years, he was never able to attain 1st class scout rank and proudly carry a bowie knife. This shame has followed him to this day, but now he can finally be free. This knife is an awesome piece. Unlike most knives, it has 3 different cutting edges - especially sharp at the tip, a large slicing surface on the bottom and a wicked hook at the end so even a backstroke can cut. I cooked a pork loin and this knife cut through the pork like it was a hot knife through hot butter. (I did let the meat rest first by the way, just for those of you who worried). Suffice to say, cutting and sharpness are top tier.Next, the knife looks absolutely gorgeous. It's a conversation starter, no doubt. First the carrying pouch makes you feel like a real steakhouse chef. Walking around at barbeques, everyone notices. Then, when you take it out - everyone is staring. The beaten metal pattern looks especially fierce and, while being a touch more difficult to clean, is a eye-catching and many guys want to come in close to get a better look or handle it for a bit.The craftmanship is great too. As I've said in previous reviews, many knife companies save money by have a short tang on their knives. (The Tang being the metal of the blade that goes into the handle) However, the tang goes all the way through the handle which not only gives the knife a balanced weight and great heft. Also, this means the knife will have a lot of staying power and won't crack in the middle while using it.If you need a good knife that draws the eye, you can't do much better than this one. 5 stars!

This Knife Makes Me Feel Like a Bada$$ in the Kitchen
There’s no other way to say this – this knife is a looker. It’s an eye-catching piece of work, all the way from the fine leather sheath, to the full-tang handle, and on to the tip of the sharp, curved blade. But it’s got more than just good looks. My original plan was to designate this blade as a utility knife to use for summer gardening, a tool to whack back errant branches or lop fat zucchini off of the vine. That plan changed once I began to test out the range of its capabilities in a more domestic setting – my kitchen.First, this is a well-balanced knife. It has a good heft, yet it isn’t so heavy that it’s tiring to hold for long periods of prep work. That’s a good thing for me – a woman who’s too often found that knives are designed for the hands of men. It’s easy to hold, with enough of a bolster that a classic “pinch position” (index finger and thumb) on the blade is a comfortable grip.Second, it’s sharp. I tested it right out of the box – it sliced through a sheet of paper with a clean slash and no evidence of tearing or shredding. Since then it’s also been put to work on a wide variety of kitchen tasks like slicing and chopping a wide variety of vegetables. It even had the honor of being used to carve my holiday leg of lamb roast.Third, it’s gorgeous. Yes, I know I already said that in the intro, but it definitely bears repeating. This knife has a unique styling that’s vastly different from any others I’ve ever owned. And yes, I feel like a genuine bada$$ kitchen diva when I’m using it to whack apart a butternut squash … or even when I’m merely slicing a zucchini.

Beautiful and well weighted knife
Essentially a curved meat cleaver, this beauty has some heft to do to chop through small bones and tough meats easily. Weighing in a 8oz on the nose, I don't get hand fatigue chopping/cutting with this after a while. The curved edge did take some getting used to, but once I did I found myself reaching for this over my regular butcher knife that becomes uncomfortable after a few minutes of use due to the handle design. Full tang, solid blade. Comes with a little cleaning cloth and a pleather sheath for storage. My only complaint was that it had a rather heavy, oily coating on it out of the box that didn't wash off easily. Yes I am aware this is to protect the blade from humidity while sitting on the shelf, but after washing it the first time I felt there was still some coating on the upper part of the blade. But this was not enough to warrant knocking any stars off.For $23 you absolutely cannot go wrong with this knife. It's constructed well and performs beautifully. Highly recommend.
