It smells like the real thing. Looks like the real thing, but this product is not the actual soap.DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!At least from this seller. This product gave me chemical burns on my arm and neck. It is not the real product and I do not k is what it really contains.DO NOT BUY!If I could give this zero stars I would.

I've used Dr. Bronner's highly concentrated, biodegradable, liquid soap for decades. I dilute it with about 1 tablespoon per 1 cup of water (1:16) for filling liquid soap dispensers for hand washing. I also use a tablespoon in about a gallon of water for dish washing and household cleaning tasks. I use 1/4 cup per load of laundry (along with 1 cup of white vinegar and 1/2 cup of baking soda). It works well for all of these purposes.Lavender is my favorite Dr. Bronner scent, but I also buy tea tree and peppermint.

I love all things Dr. Bronner! I have sensitive, oily skin and these products are great for me. I have used the Hemp orange castile soap- great if you like a nice light citrus scent. The Hemp rose castile soap is very feminine, perfect for Valentine's day or if you just want to pamper yourself. The Scentless castile soap is great as a household cleaner or shampoo for my natural hair (good cleanser that doesn't strip my hair). The Hemp peppermint castile soap is great- good as a shaving cream if you find yourself out of shave gel, but it can be uncomfortable when washing your lady parts (just being honest, it's very strong). This almond castile soap has a light fragrance and like all the other Dr. Bronner soaps (liquid and bar) I have tried, it leaves my skin feeling clean but not dry. If you can't tell, I recommend Dr. Bronner!

So here’s my testimony after using Dr. Bronners soap in the shower.1) After washing up for about 2 mins I felt all my sins wash away and I was singing hymns that I didn’t even know that I knew.2) After about 5 mins I smelled like a newly stained pinewood deck and I wasn’t mad about it.3) After 7 mins I felt absolved of all of my sins and thought about calling off of work to go door to door to preach the word of Dr. Bronners soap and how it just delivered me.4) Then felt that I had to read the bottle because I didn’t understand how a soap could make a person feel so good.That’s when I saw....You can clean hard wood floors with this stuff (which explains why I felt like a stained deck). You can do laundry with this soap, only after you dilute it. You can clean residue of off glass (which helped explain why I was two shades lighter, had to actually take a double take in the mirror).5) So I’m drying off in the shower and I look up, thinking it’s the light in my shower, no it was two angels that carried me from the shower to my bedroom.If you aren’t ready for all of that leave that soap alone.

I purchased this to use with foaming hand soap dispensers and this soap not only functions beautifully in that regard, it's more moisturizing than "traditional" soap. The scent is exactly like almond oil and has a very subtle fragrance that smells natural. Because foaming soap dispensers require diluted soap, this is also something I consider a reasonable expense and is a good value. I don't feel like I'm sacrificing effectiveness with an inferior product, quite the contrary I feel like I'm using a exceptional product that's skin conditioning and a much healthier option. I love this and will continue to purchase. I highly recommend!

This stuff is amaze balls!!! My acne had gotten so bad (worse than ever) because of a prescription I was taking and I used this for about a month and my skin is much smoother and I'm not breaking out. Also, in conjunction with apple cider vinegar, the acne scars are diminishing.

The seller sent an email shortly after to insure I received my order, and to make sure I was happy with my purchase.I absolutely love Dr. Bronner’s products, and have been using them for years. I use the Lavender Castile Liquid Soap everyday in the shower, and have it in foaming dispensers at every sink in the house. I mix 1 part of Dr. Bronner’s soap with 3-4 parts water in the dispensers for a rich hand soap. Out of all the scents, the lavender is my favorite. It smells wonderful! It’s also non-drying to the skin.I’ve purchased this on Amazon from other sellers, and have had issues with the quality of some of the bottles I received. Some were cracked and leaking, and some were old product that had an unpleasant smell.I’ve purchased this several times with this seller, and have always received my order quickly and in perfect condition. Great price too!

Gentle and effective. I have the gallon size of the Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree soap and while I love it for my oily face, it's too dry for my combo skin body. The almond oil recipe has a really nice, light smell. While it does a good job cleaning, it doesn't strip off oil nearly as much as the Tea Tree formula. Great to use on combo skin, also I've used this to wash out my summer cooler, and some patio furniture as well. Nice almond scent, not too strong, but you can kind of smell the hemp oil. It does smell like an almond hippie a bit, if you're not down with that.

I have been using this for my skin and hair for just over a month. For my hair I use about five drops in hair soaked water for one part of my hair and the same for the other. It cleans it very well and as someone who gets bad dandruff it has seen me through a week. But the smell...For my body, it is strong and effective. I use about four-ish drops on a water soaked sponge. Be warned it stings sensitive parts and though effective I don’t feel any cleaner than when I use normal soap or shower gel with my sponge. Still, it is nice as it is all natural. But the smell...The smell. When I first opened it, it smelled lovely like roses but after a few days the smell changed. It smells awful, like something has gone off mixed with a chemical sewage drain. It ruins all the positive attributes of this all purpose soap.In the future I’ll be trying a different scent of the same brand or something else with the same eco credentials.

Actually beautifully made and incredibly versatlie. All organic and earth friendly ingredients. It does what it says very spiritual liquid soap with essential oils. I love the rose smell and its spritually uplifting and when your tired you can pour into your tub, use as a face wash or shampoo, it's so versatileI have extremely sensitive dry skin and can't use 99% of most soaps or face cleansers. This can be applied directly onto the face and its cleanses without drying and your skin feels soft and radiant. It smells so nice and I can only describe it as divine creation. It has numerous uses, I wash my body, use as a face wash, wash my clothes and use as a washing up liquid, the company that created this actually had a great deal of spritual insight into the future and from someone who is deeply spriitual and religous it actually does what it states and beyond. It's the best thing out there in the market. I use a mix of rose lavender and orange citrus in my bath and it is concentrate enough to lather a sponge. It's complements the Lords command that we have to bath and cleanse our bodies, then perform our prayers and union with the one. My daughter likes the sensitive baby version. But my favourite is the organic rose.

Unfortunately I was too excited based on the good ratings for this product...I wanted to use the soap as shower gel, shampoo, hand wash and also for cleaning purposes. I am very disappointed by the smell (smells of sick, no way of roses!), so I had to add expensive organic oil in order to use it at all. Also my skin seems to be too sensitive for this soap, I can't use it as shower gel, as sensitive parts react to the soap.Furthermore it is far too liquid, so I can't use it in my soap dispenser. Overall I am very disappointed by the product. Nevertheless 2 stars, as the product arrived in a sealed package and the package was as described. Would not order it again.

I must see I've only recently started to use Dr bronner soaps and this one is my favourite. The scent is so lovely. Got a good lather as well. Skin doesn't feel tight like some experienced.my skin actually feels super soft and even better after I've creamed it. Love it. The almond one is also great. And trued the peppermint which is a little drying but if you lotion you'd be fine. Also people that suffers with thrush or bacteria vaginosis this soap is definitely for you it's scensitive enough and causes no issues. I've had no issues and I use to be a sufferer.

I was easily swayed by the relatively positive reviews on Amazon.However, the smell of the stuff is very chemical, with a distinct undertone of rotting, like some key ingredient had "turned" with age. It set off my gag reflexes like no other product I had ever tried that was designed to clean the human body. And what is worse is that the smell lingers on the skin for quite some time! I literally had no other choice but to pour the entire contents down the sink and thoroughly rinse the soap bottles I had distilled it into.This bottle of liquid Castille soap is by no means cheap, yet I found a heavenly Sicilian rose scented liquid soap from a well-known designer brand discount store for a fraction of the price and made sure to buy several bottles of it. I love Dr Bronner's cinnamon toothpaste which is also relatively expensive, so it's not like I won't spend extra on nicer products. However, I have much higher expectations for them. I was so very disappointed with this.
