My JVC Televison (LT-40C880) would not respond to the remote. I tried new batteries and cleaning the terminals in the battery slots but it still wouldn't work. The tv would come on if I went to the back of the telly and switched the tiny (and difficult to find) button on, off and back on again so I could then use the remote that comes with the freeview recorder to watch tv via that. I couldn't get the remote to switch to dvd. I looked at the price of new tv's and cried. Then I wondered if a replacement remote would work. At £7.99 it was worth a try. The replacement arrived today and it looks just like the old one minus the JVC logo and "RM-C3231" reference number. I put in the batteries and pressed the source button and up came the menu. The old remote would not even do that. So, it looks like I don't need to buy a new tv. Such a relief.

It does exactly what it's meant to do and was surprised that it was a JVC model as was expecting a copy ..so all good.

Worked straight away.
Although my tv wasn’t listed, I have a 48 inch and the model number for the 49 inch was the cake bar the number and it’s worked. The remote is exactly the same as mine which stopped working some time ago! Very happy! All functions work on the controller added 2 x AAA batteries and no syncing required.

Great value
Very good value, no problems, just add batteries and go Only problem is the dog likes to chew them, on 2nd one this year and its onlh Feb.

Does what it says on the tin
First of all the speed of delivery was amazing - ordered after 12pm and received the very next morning even though Amazon said it wouldn't be here for another two days. As this was the second remote I'd broken (don't ask!) I knew it'd work - and it works perfectly Thank you!

It works as good as the original.
Exactly the same as the original one except that it works. Would definitely recommend.

JVC Remote control
Ordered this as the previous remote broke, all buttons would only provide channel 9! New JVC one arrived, literally just put batteries in & bosh job done. Very pleased & would recommend.
