Relief at last.
Oh this is soooooo gooood. Lower back and shoulder pain has been my life for years. So many pain killers I rattled. THIS IS NOT A CURE AND NOT SUPPOSED TO BE. Thirty minutes gives me 3-4 hours relief from pain. It took about a week to really work but now I use it twice a day and I'm almost pain free. I read on other sites that people said it was a waste of money and didn't work. All I can think of is they're not using it right. Read the manual and do a bit of research and use it properly, and you won't look back.

Annoying, unnecessary features
It works fine, as a TENS machine should. However, there are some really annoying features, such as a 30 minute timer that you can't turn off, so if you're like me and need to wear it for hours you have to keep fishing it out of your pocket, find your glasses and then restart it. Why?? There's an automatic locking device that takes ages to kick in and then unlocks itself if you touch the down button! So it's not damn well locked, is it?? The whole point of a lock is that pressing buttons by mistake doesn't change the function! Also the pads come on silly little individual bits of plastic instead of one decent sized one so they fall on the floor and get lost. It's harder to pick which function you want because they've tried to make that automatic as well. Sigh. Oh, and there's no proper zip up holder for the lot, because they want you to spend more money and buy one...I so wish I'd bought another TouchTens, like my other one, even though it costs more money...Do yourself a favour and buy the better one.

Don't quit after only one try !
I was sceptical whether this would work for nerve pain, but it actually does help.It took a few tries to find the optimum placement for the sticky pads to get the best results and trial and error using the different modes and intensity of the pulsing. My personal experience is similar to another reviewer, in that it provides a distraction from the pain rather than providing total pain relief for a nerve related pain. It did lessen the pain a little though, and anything that brings any relief is worth it!The instructions clearly state it is not to be used on the spine, so I used all 4 pads , 2 either side of the spine with a 4 inch gap between them.I found that having a higher intensity pulse on the right side, with a lower on the left gave the best result. My husband tried it on his elbow pain and it gave total pain relief for the duration of use and for a couple of hours afterwards. So I'm buying him one for himself.Top tip is to clean the pads with a damp lint free cloth after EVERY useThis prevents build up of oil from the skin and the pads last longer.

Excellent machine with potential health benefits.
Unbeatable value for price. Full programme of settings. Batteries (2 x AA) last ages. Only downside is that it is difficult to read the settings and see the timer when the programme is running if in bad light. Screen back lit only during setting period. Definitely has proved many times its value in health benefits.

Great product although have seen it cheaper at Lloyds Pharmacy
Great product although have seen it cheaper at Lloyds Pharmacy. However for the £20 it cost, it has been worth it for the relief it has given to my sciatica.

Wouldn't be without it!
I use this for Fibromyalgia paiin especially in my legs and hips. I just wouldn't be without it now. It's the only thing that gets rid of the pain, not permanently of course but gives some respite. Love it!

Great machine, help with my pain, I would definitely recommend if u suffer with any pain
Great machine this is the 3rd or 4th one I brought as I stupidly dropped them down the toilet when I was going to the loo but I brought another one as they are fantastic & help with my neuropathic pain coz I have Multiple Sclerosis & I’m paralysed from the waist down but I still experience pain so I have my tens on constantly as it really helps with my excruciating pain I suffer coz of my MS

Bought this for period cramps and works very well, the pads aren't very durable though and you will have to buy replacements after a couple of uses.
