Huckberry Flint and Tinder Waxed Trucker Jacket: A Timeless, Rugged Must-Have!
I recently picked up the Huckberry Flint and Tinder Men's Flannel-Lined Waxed Trucker Jacket in Field Tan, size Large, and I can’t stop raving about it! This jacket is the perfect blend of style, durability, and functionality, making it my go-to for everything from crisp fall hikes to casual city outings. Crafted in the USA with 7 oz. Martexin waxed sailcloth, it’s built to withstand the elements, and I’ve already tested it in light rain and windy conditions—it kept me dry and comfortable without missing a beat. The waxed canvas has a unique, slightly worn-in look right out of the box, and I love how it’s already starting to develop a personalized patina that promises to get even better with time. The flannel lining is a standout feature, adding just the right amount of warmth for those 40-60°F days, making it ideal for layering with a hoodie or sweater when the temperature dips. Unlike heavier waxed jackets, this one is surprisingly lightweight and flexible from the first wear, which makes it incredibly comfortable without sacrificing protection. The fit is spot-on for a size Large—I’m 6’1”, 190 lbs with a 42-inch chest, and it sits perfectly at the hips with enough room for movement and layering. The slightly longer sleeves add a cool, broken-in vibe with natural crinkles at the elbows, and the adjustable waist buttons let me tweak the fit for a tailored look. The design is both rugged and refined, with antique-finish metal buttons that feel sturdy and add a touch of heritage charm. The two side pockets are spacious enough for my hands or small essentials, and the buttoned chest pocket is great for securing keys or a wallet. I also appreciate the internal media pocket, which snugly holds my phone for easy access. I’ve worn this jacket for everything from chopping firewood to grabbing coffee in town, and it’s versatile enough to look sharp in both settings. The fact that it’s re-waxable ensures it’ll stay water-resistant for years, and I’m excited to maintain it for a lifetime of use. While some might find the price a bit steep, the quality, craftsmanship, and Made-in-USA pedigree make it worth every penny. This isn’t just a jacket—it’s an investment in a piece that’s built to last and tell a story through every scratch and crease. Whether you’re braving the elements or just want a stylish, hardwearing layer, the Flint and Tinder Waxed Trucker Jacket delivers in spades. Highly recommend this iconic piece to anyone looking for a versatile, durable, and downright cool addition to their wardrobe

I love it!
I look so masculine in this jacket/coat/over shirt I don’t know. I drip power and leave marks everywhere I roam. Seriously though, I didn’t even like the show or notice the main guy wore this. I just found this, bought it, rocked it and was informed, hey that’s from that zombie plant show. It’s expensive but I had the money, so yea, I’m not responsible. Would I purchase this at full price again, ohhh yea!!

For slender people not average build
I ordered this as a gift for my brother in law who is 6’ 4”. The length was perfect, something that is hard to find. But, he is average build, not overweight, and he still couldn’t close the jacket. The advertise that it is for the average guy who works outside but seems to be for slender people. He loved the wax textured nature of the jacket but disappointed it couldn’t close. Great looking quality jacket but they need to provide more options for the cut.

Fits exactly as sizing chart showed.
Looks and feels amazing. Couldn't be more happy. Read the sizing chart and definitely measure for this one.

Field tan looks and feels darker and more oily than the pictures
I love the look of the jacket. I had been looking at them for a long time. My first impression was that it feels more oily than I imagined and the field tan I got appears darker tan many of the photos. Maybe that will change now that it is out of the plastic bag it came in. I guess the copius amount of wax is a good sign for the water resistance. The next thing everyone might want to know is fit. I am happy with the fit. I am 6'1 287 lbs and I got the 3XL. I think this was the right choice. I will say I have kind of a barrel chest and bigger belly, but I can still button all buttons and normal spread when unbuttoned. I have a 40" waist and usually wear XXL in my other clothes. Also, I think I have slightly shorter arms than normal and the perfect fit on arms length is with a 1" roll of the cuff which is easy to do and will stay cuffed with this type of material. I am very happy with this jacket.

Exactly what I was expecting
It's more than a little pricey...But man I love it! No obvious flaws noticed. Seems to be well made. The lining is thinner than I expected, but the jacket warmed me up quick. Was worried because I saw a review saying it wasn't waxed, or not waxed well. Mine is thoroughly coated. Did a drip test and water beaded nicely. The color is beautiful and it is overall just a sharp jacket. Wish it was $100-$150 cheaper, and it was a spur of the moment decision, but it's definitely a keeper.I included photos to demonstrate the fit. I am 6'3" and 185lbs. Chest size is between 39-40". I wanted it to fit snug so I went with a medium-tall. It fits exactly as I wanted it to. Again, this is a snug fit that I was looking for. The sizing guide I used seems to be accurate. Get a tape measure and follow the guide provided.

Give more attention to sizing.
The size never works out. This item is just another example of how apparel created in China is never big enough to be worn in the United States. I would think that those selling an item like this would see to it that the size matches their customer. This is not a social comment, it is a comment about the lack of interest in your customers. I ordered this jacket larger than what I needed and it’s still too small.
