I really love this cake liner. I have oily lids and under eyes and this stays for several hours. I couldn't use eyeliner pencils at all...even with powder first. This color is really nice, too. It's softer than black. I'm so glad that I found this.

Before buying this eyeliner I looked at the reviews and when I saw that it was comparable to the discontinued Clinique cake eyeliner I decided to give it a try. I actually like it better because it seems more concentrated so I need to use less. My only complaint is that there was no brush with it so I am using my Clinique brush to apply. It would be great if it came in a compact with a brush, but the product itself is very good.

Easy to use and stays in place. Color as expected.

This eyeliner is adequate but, after 20+ years using the Clinique water-resistant cake eyeliner, this does not measure up the way I wish it did. I find it a bit chalky and lacking the depth of pigment I was used to and, to get the same smooth layer of concentrated color, I need to apply, at least, 2 coats, sometimes more. Given the small size of the cake, I don’t imagine it will last as long as I would like.

This is a good item but when it arrived it was a bit smaller than I expected. It is easy to use. The pigment is not strong so it applies a bit lighter than I prefer.

I have trouble using liquid eyeliner. So I have always used Cake Eyeliner. I could not find the one I always used. I found this one and I am very happy with my purchase. I will buy again in the future. You only need to use a little bit of water.

For someone who has used Clinique's water resistant eyeliner for over 30 years, trying to replace the discontinued product has been a huge challenge. For the price this came in a size of a quarter, it dries fast on the cake but slow on the eyes, so you keep wetting it before you can finish applying. I had to repeat applying on top of the first coat to get good coverage. And Lo and behold it flackes and drops on the cheeks after a few hours. I am Disappointed. Waste of money, and since it's used I can't return it.

My sister has been looking for a quality paint on eyeliner and this fit the bill!
