I'm 5'7 180 lbs. and a large is very form fitted on me. You might consider an XLarge?

I am 5'8" & 180, the Large fits me perfectly so I would say go with XL

Q: Why on Amazon does the picture show light blue but description says beige?

I don’t knew the answer to that. I ordered the white one and all was good. Excellent fit. Will be buying more of these shirts.

I purchased the short sleeve version. I am 6’0 215 and the xl I purchased fits perfectly. I believe you could wear an xl if you like the tight fitting look, but an xxl might be a little loose on you. The fabric is ribbed cotton and fits comfortably for me. See if there is a 7 day try and buy offer from Amazon, then you can try it on and see if you like it or not.
