Well worth exploring this diverse period of Anvil - great songs throughout, the production values increase with the later albums (Strength and Pound just do not have the necessary aural punch). And a great price.Plugged In Permanent is perhaps the best thrash album made, with Dr K its crowning jewel, whilst Worth The Weight is probably the best prog metal album made....Now hope the following 5 albums will be released in a similar package!

What more can I say than 5 classic albums for £2 each! Spaning a less well documented part of anvils career these albums follow on from the highly influencial 'metal on metal' and 'forged in fire's album's. These 5 albums prove these guys were well over looked after the early success they initially had.
