This is an amazing little gadget.I'm a lady with a physical disability and my hands tend to claw up, get very painful, swell up and i really struggle using scissors.I have tried many different cutting gadgets over the years but none have worked out for me.I saw this one and almost gave it a miss but as it had good reviews, I thought what harm can it do to try it out.I'm so glad I did.It is by far the easiest one that I have every tried.It just glides through the paper with so much ease without having to add any pressure at all and even better it cuts in a straight line so I am not wasting half a roll of wrapping paper on badly cut pieces.I give this 10 out 10 and highly recommend this to anyone.I'd happily recommend this to the disabled community too.Well done to the makers of the item, its fantastic 👏

I think these are great for cutting your greaseproof paper straight or any wrapping paper for presents

Very good for straight lines in cutting paper, a little bit tricky to start..Good once it gets going, but it can be fiddly to start. I find it quite difficult to make that initial 'tear' in the paper. However once you do, the paper cutter is brilliant and does a lovely straight line. I think it will be great for wrapping paper, I just wish I knew how to 'start' the cut.

I am absolutely no good at wrapping presents and they always end up with that amateurish "well, I tried" look about them. I can't cut in a straight line to save my life (in mitigation, I'm left-handed and nearly all decent scissors are right-handed) and, when I try and curl ribbon, it ends up looking like ribbon that was curled and then dropped in the bath.I've tried quite a few of these paper cutters before, but never with any success. I've also tried ribbon curlers ditto. However, just before Christmas and needing to make up a minimum order amount for my 'add-ons', I thought I'd give this Friskars cutter a go.Excellent. I actually created wrapped presents which looked impressive. Not just acceptable, impressive.The cutter just zips through paper like a warm knife through butter, and so smoothly and quickly that even I can keep a relatively straight line. The ribbon curler just works (maybe all the others I've tried were right-handed?) and I got quite carried away and smothered the entire first present I wrapped with a froth of different-coloured ribbons.Do buy one of these if you struggle with present wrapping - it makes you and the present look so good!

This was purchased to replace one I had had for years and seamed to loose its cut.Makes wrapping gifts so much easier than having to try and cut paper with scissors, and it has a piece that can be used to curl gift ribbon, so a duel product, which makes things so much easier than using a pair of scissors to curl the ribbon, and so much safer, even a child can use this to cut paper and curl ribbon quite safely on their own, no need to worry about getting cuts to fingers or scratches on the furniture, I find it so easy to use, even with my poor grip and arthritic fingers.

This is just the item I was looking for to cut off the roll of paper on our children's art station. It arrived and is the usual great quality you get from Fiskars and it works perfectly to very quickly and easily cut across the paper. Has been saving me loads of time and cuts very cleanly and neatly too.

I got this to help with Christmas wrapping.. my word, did it.. it was simple to use and made the wrapping of presents so mach easier and quicker.Recommended.

The blade seems to have gone blunt very fast. It did work in fairness but not for very long and didn’t make it through all the Christmas wrapping
