Small bottle, but small dose even for a large dog.
I purchased this Turkey Tail Mushroom Extract for my dog who is in cancer remission. The container is tiny and the amount of powder is only .48oz, but my 65lb dogs dose is only 1/4 tsp a day which will make this a 30 day supply. I mix the powder in my dogs food and she doesn't mind it at all. I chose this product over other Turkey Tail mushroom products because of the way Four Leaf Rover makes their products. According to their website, their mushrooms are organic, grown on wood instead of grain, and they use the entire fruiting mushroom. This gives the product a high beta-glucan content (The good for you stuff) which is then third party tested. They also test for heavy metals and pesticides. I like that the only ingredient is Turkey Tail Mushroom Extract. There are no fillers or unnecessary additions to the supplement. This made me confident I was giving my dog a good quality product.

Small Container But Goes A Long Way
I have read some of the reviews and one of the complaints was that people feel the container is so small and it is not a good value for your money. I just finished my first container and it lasted over 2 months (68 days) for two dogs. They are both under 30lbs so they don’t need much of the product each day. Of course, it has to do with what size dog you have will determine how long it will last. The size container does not look like it will last long but I assure you it does. Seems like a good product and good value. Just got my second container.

maybe? worth the try. My lab didnt live long w/ lymphoma but her days were very good overall
Ugh, just because a container is half full does not mean you are being ripped off. Products like this are sold based on weight, not volume. Says that it is a 30 day supply for large dogs in the 61-100 pound range at 1/4 tsp per day. Use a measuring spoon correctly, or a scale. I provided this to my sweet yellow lab, and it did indeed last 30 days, or more specifically 30 servings. I did not buy more because I could not tell if it was helping or not, and unfortunately it was not needed. RIP baby girl. I was using another product that has turkey tail mushroom and other mushrooms as well as white turmeric alongside this one. I bought this Four Leaf Rover to further add to the turkey tail and other supplements. She tolerated it well, and I didnt notice anything concerning. However, I really cant say if it helped her any. She passed 42 days after diagnosis with lymphoma. She was an otherwise strong, brave, healthy 7 year old until the sudden development of swollen lymph nodes all over her body. High dose prednisone initially brought them down, but they returned. I used this supplement from the beginning, and I had hoped for more time. Alas, no. However she had mostly very good days up until we scheduled a Lap of Love appt to come to house. She was tired, and it is a terminal cancer.I personally use turkey tail mushroom supplements, and can nver tell if it actually helps anything. Worth the try. Good luck4 stars because it seems of quality. It seems to be what it says it is. I dont rate on price since we can all see the price before purchase, we all have different needs, preferences and budgets. Turkey tail mushroom can be found for less, but I wanted a product that is from a pet company. Didnt seem too pricy for me. another product

Finally something that worked
Our 13yr old maltipoo has been dealing with warts in a couple of spots on his body for YEARS. Prob close to 5 yrs to be exact. We've used topical treatments, seen a vet to have some removed and they just KEEP coming back (in the same spots! esp. 2 on the back of his head and right by his nose). The warts never seem to bother him (he wont scratch, dont mind if you put meds on them etc.) but they have a tendency to bleed and some have grown in size in the last couple of months. After doing some research we ended up ordering some Turkey Tail Mushroom Extract. I sprinkle it on a piece of sandwich meat or mix in peanut butter. It's only been roughly 2 weeks of daily use, and his warts have all dried up and are starting to fall off. The 2 biggest ones (neck and nose) are almost FLAT ! This didnt even happen after vet froze them off (3yrs ago). Wow ! Fingers crossed for continued healing and that they'll stay away for good this time

Little goes a long way. I add 1/4 tsp (per my dog's weight) to one meal a day.
Our dog was diagnosed with an abdominal tumor in May. With covid, vet clinics were back upped, and the costs of major diagnostic scans were costly, we finally found a vet that would do exploratory surgery at a reasonable rate (November consult appointment). December came for the surgery, the tumor was too big and around vital organs....inoperable. Because our "boy" was still happy, active, eating and drinking water as usual, we opted to not euthanize as suggested/hinted by the vet. Because he has chicken/poultry allergies he was on Nutro Limited Ingredient dry dog food. Which he no longer likes to eat, but was very good for his allergies. I have now gotten him this turkey tail mushroom powder, Thorne Hepagen and feed him Blue beef dinner canned food (sometimes adding a little rice or potatoes). He eats liver wurst like it's going out of syle🤣. That's how I get him to take a pill form of anything. All i know is, it has been almost a year since he was diagnosed with "some sort of mass", 6 months when they said it was cancer, 5 months when they said it was inoperable. With this product, and the other changes I have made to his dietary intake, we have had more time with him and he is still moving, active, happy, eating, drinking and (of course)...loved/spoiled💗
