Good fit.
Needed a rain coat for walking and cycling and it looks good, appears to be well made. It is not superlite like a packaway. I have not had the chance to test it in the rain yet. I,m not small and find it hard to get good fitting clothes, sometimes when ordering to fit round my waist I find the garment ends up on the long side but this is proportioned pretty good. Overall I,m happy with it and I will review again after a rainy day to let you know how it performed.

Good jacket that needs tweaking.
I'm 6'3" and 115KG and the XL is still a bit of a tent on me! But, if anything I'd like the front to be an inch or two longer. After wearing the jacket inside for 10 minutes I did feel a bit like a boil in the bag fish; there was quite a lot of humidity inside the jacket. There are side vents in each side of the jacket with zips, these is like to see relocated to under the armpit areas because they really don't help much with ventilation being so low down. This jacket doesn't come with a hood, something I was aware of when buying. However, this jacket needs a hood! It's fine to say that when you're cycling you'll be wearing a helmet but what do you do when you stop and is chucking it down? Why not have a detachable hood or something really thin that folds away, it wouldn't add much weight but it would make it infinitely more useful.Speaking of being useful, why not have two side pockets? This I find by far the most annoying part of this jacket's design. They can also act as extra vents. People always have something they need to store and not having side pockets is just pointless. The top pocket for a phone or card is useful. The material is pretty tough and I can report that it's very waterproof and windproof. The extra large jacket weighs 804g. The reflective material is incredibly effective in even the weakest of light.Overall, as with all Mountain Warehouse kit, this is a high quality garment that performs really well. With just a few tweaks it could perfect.

Ok but ventilation lacking
Good for the price but ventilation is always a problem with cheap jackets and thatβs the case with this. Good colour for being seen cycling.

You'll sweat!
I'm fairly slim 5.9 it's fits perfectly and looks good with anything and its waterproof. But for cycling it's so hot wearing it that I have no energy cycling up hills it's like wearing I think black bag!

Not breathable
They've cheaped out by not having the mesh cover the length of the arms and the combined with a distinct lack of breathability it leads to humidity getting trapped.I've just come back to the jacket 4 hours after riding and there is actually full beads of moisture in the forearms from where the heat has been caught. I've never had any type of jacket do this before.Very disappointing as in all other respects its a nice jacket and very visable when riding.

Would not buy this for use while riding a road bike
I bought this to replace my previous jacket. The only downside is that the collar on this one is very high and a bit stiff so for riding on a road bike it is a bit uncomfortable as it pushes my helmet into my eyes. Not a deal breaker but if i would have known i would have bought the same as i had before.

Great value and well up to the job.
Fantastic lightweight cycling jacket from Mountain Warehouse.Keeps you pretty dry in the rain, and has side breathing vents that can be open or closed with a zip.3 spacious pockets on the front allow plenty of room for your phone and keys, with an additional zipped large pocket on the rear that can accommodate a pair of waterproof trousers which is very handy. All in all, a great product with a great price that is more than adequate for my needs.Highly recommended.
