Ok, had this a few months so this isn’t a “Just got it and it looks great!” unboxing review…We’ve used this with a 12lb Rat Terrier and a 25lb Puli, both known to do some inappropriate barking way early in the AM. The collar works really well with both though the Puli needs the longer contact prongs than the Rattie. They quickly responded to the low settings and now that they are familiar with it, we’ll leave it on ‘buzz’ reminder.I’ve had several bark collars over the years and find this one better than the older models I’ve had, I would recommend this to anyone dealing with a barking problem.

Very happy! I was skeptical this would work because my Mini Schnauzer barked at everything that moved. He got overexcited and would not calm down. I put this collar on and started with it on a 1 vibration, then worked it up to a 4 gradually. It took a few times of the vibration and me saying no bark and he got the idea. Now all I have to do it put it on him and he knows when he is wearing it that means no bark.I was amazed that there was such a change in just a couple of days. We can now take him for rides and walks without his excessive barking disturbing anyone.It also holds its charge longer than I expected.

I got this for my 7-lb chihuahua mix. He’s lived in a house his whole 10-yr life and gotten increasingly barky at any little noise. Recently, we had to move into an apartment where he is not allowed to bark. I was super hesitant and afraid to use a device like this. I read terrible things on the internet that made me fear that I’d traumatize him or hurt him by using a bark collar. But I couldn’t control his barking any other way and needed something that would also work consistently when I wasn’t home. It was this or risk getting kicked out of my apartment. So I cautiously tried the bark collar.I’m glad to say it was not nearly as scary as I feared. This has an option to just use sound and vibration without administering a shock, which is great. We have not needed to use the shock, ever. He figured out very quickly that there are vibration consequences for barking and in the 12 hours he had the collar on the first time, I think he only barked/got vibrated twice. Then he was a quiet and calm dog for the rest of it.We went the whole next day after that with no collar and no barking. The third day, he barked a couple times so I put the collar on him. He barked again and got vibrated. No more barking the rest of the day. It really did change his whole energy, but not in a way that made me feel like he was being harshly punished, afraid, or hurt. That’s what I was worried about. But he was just calm and quiet. Today we have gone all day through many noises without the collar on and without any major reaction from him. Great progress! I intend to keep the collar off when I’m home, but it will go back on if/when he barks or if I have to leave the house and leave him home alone.Every consequence is sound (tone) followed by vibration. I do wish the sound was more of a warning and if the barking stops, then the vibration doesn’t continue. However, on this model it is always a couple seconds of sound followed by vibration.I also wish the strap was shorter, simply because my dog is so small. The collar fits and is able to be tightened small enough for him, but the excess strap is very long and gets in the way. I had to tie it up awkwardly, but it doesn’t stay very well. The device itself is a little big for his small size but it’s not too bad and doesn’t seem to bother him. I understand that this is designed to fit/accommodate a range of dogs in a range of sizes and I think it would do that nicely based on the amount of extra strap.Overall, I’m pleased with this product--it has been very effective for us.

Our dog was so yappy and did not respond to training we went through. This collar does have the possibility or really zapping a dog, but we never use that. Instead, there is a vibration and a sound reminder setting that can be set at different levels. It did not take our puppy long to catch on that barking was not appreciated. Now just seeing the collar is enough to settle him down.

We have glass front doors which my dog loves to lay in front of to enjoy the scenery. Tge bad part is he also likes to bark at EVERYTHING he sees outside. The collar makes both of our lives better. He get to keep his favorite vantage point, and I get to have peace and quiet. The beeping shuts the barking fown immediately. He does not get shocked.

I ordered the Smart Dog Bark Control Collar for my 4 year old, 8 pound Yorkie, Sammy, who is an incessant barker. When I ordered the Smart Bark Collar, I was at my wits end with Sammy's barking. The Smart Bark collar arrived before expected, was fully charged in a matter of a few hours, and the set up was quite easy along with being personally tailored to Sammy's needs as well as my own. When I put it on Sammy, he was not happy, however, quietly went about his day for about 15 minutes until spooked by my garage door opening. Sammy barked and ran toward the laundry room. Sammy didn't get very far when the Smart Dog collar made a sound directly followed by a short burst of vibration. Sammy, immediately stopped in his tracks turned around without a peep and ran into his kennel. I allowed him to remain in his kennel a few minutes to think about what had just happened and then I removed his Smart Bark Collar. This past week has been heavenly and void of Sammy's incessant barking. When he starts to think about barking, I just show him his collar and in a firm voice state "No barking." This generally and immediately stops Sammy's barking behavior. Sammy has rebelled against this system only 3 times, and each time he earned wearing his bark collar for a short time. I do not intend, nor have I tested, the shock setting on the Smart Bark Collar, therefore, am unable to comment on its performance. The collar is bigger than I expected but is working out okay because I don't leave it on Sammy for very long. The Smart Bark collar is easily adjust to my dogs neck. After four years of attempting to change Sammy's barking I've finally found an affordable option that is working. I had been considering sending Sammy to a behavior boot camp for misbehaving dogs. The Smart Dog Bark Collar has changed both our lives.

Got a dog that loved to hear herself bark. Got tired of her barking in the middle of the night and neighbors complaining. Only barked once or twice before she got the point. Now I only have it set to vibrate and it keeps working.
