Bought these to replace some old ones, they are really good quality, would definitely recommend. Price is also really good as I priced at a retail store and they turned out to be more expensive-happy with my little saving!

These are decent quality replacements for oval latches on modern builds but they are let down by being slightly smaller than standard size on the latches faceplate escutcheon so the screw holes are off.Fitted a few of these now and they all required the solution of matchsticks in the old screw holes to allow new screws to go in slightly off from the originals. My photos show the slight sizing difference.

The only reason for giving this item three stars, is because the previous one I bought was the correct size, worked perfectly, and appeared to be reasonably well made. Unfortunately, on buying this second one, I discovered that the vendor had sent me the wrong size item (5mm too long). Why this happened, I've no idea, as it was supposed to be identical to the first one I bought. Needless to say, I'm not buying another in case the same thing happens again.

I have fitted two of these. They only last a week or so and then they start to jam, making the door unusable. Rubish won't buy again.
