FLEXIBLE WITHOUT THE RATCHETS
As an owner of several ratchet style belts I thought this belt looked promising as there were no ratchets on the belt. I found this belt to be very comfortable and not stiff like some of the ratchet style belts. Since the buckle clamps down wherever you adjust for comfort-it feels more like a regular belt, but without the holes.To release tension: Just push down on the metal tab where the belt enters the buckle. It is much different than the ratchet belts , so when you first try to release the tension you'll probably feel for the lever which is found on the ratchet buckles. I know , because thats what I did .As the owner of some ratchet style belts, I found this belt to be very comfortable and since there are no ratchets on the belt, the adjustments you can make are infinite.I wear a 42" belt & found the XL to be fine.

Sent 1st belt back because it was too big.Recommend using a seamstress tape to determine your waist size.

This is a great dressy or casual belt. With the colors you can wear brown or black shoes.

Do not buy if looking for quality!
Bought this belt at the end of October 2023, and did not even make it through January 2024. Not durable at all! Screw came out and now does not work properly.

Low quality belt
Changed my review. After only wearing couple times it started to fall apart. The layers of leather very thin and started to separate from the center and break apart. Bad quality
