Love's Savage Armpit by Amber Flame
At only eighteen-years of age, Elizabeth Montgomery vowed upon her parents’ death to carry the Montgomery name forward with pride and fortitude. She would continue all enterprises by herself, without interference and without aid from anyone. She had such proud intentions and it was a little sad to watch her slide down the muddy slopes of real life. She tried with all her wherewithal to hold on to her dignity, however, no matter which direction she turned, someone was ripping off her clothes.Double-entendres abound as prideful Elizabeth turns trollop with the misidentification between identical twin brothers who can only be discerned below the belt. Through circumstances, not of her own making, Elizabeth is whisked away into an adventure across the sea of absurdity, repeatedly needing rescuing and new clothes. Love’s Savage Armpit is a hysterical tale that finds a balance before becoming too slap-stick.There are many diverse characters, with interesting quirks, who are handled tastefully. With the twists in the plot, Elizabeth is often thrown off balance and left having to reassess her circumstances. I found this a fun romp and a distraction I enjoyed getting lost in. I highly recommend Love’s Savage Armpit to anyone looking for a captivating, fun story.FYI: Adult content and mildly strong language. **Originally written for "BigAl’s Books and Pals" book blog.
