It was exactly the shape I wanted but about half the size and I wanted one for cooking in the kitchen ,not the bar b q. So I gave it away and went an bought its Daddy ! It was my fault I am still in feet and inches , not metres and centimetres !

Just what I needed highly recommended. Yes, a little heavy but it does the job.

Difficult to keep clean, as once its been oiled (they call it seasoning), in order to keep it from rusting, so detergent can't be used. Its not too heavy to left, but do stand it on paper for storage due to the oil thing.Its good that the handle comes off for oven cooking, and for washing, and that also means it can be left in soak to soften crusted on bits, but then you gotta SCRUB!I would buy it again

I would have given this compact (small) griddle pan 5 stars had it not been for the handle.As you can see in the listing's images, the wooden grip has channels down either side into which fits the steel wire attachment, but these channels are open so the wire is exposed on both sides and I nearly burnt my hand and fingers the first time I picked it up to transfer my steak to my plate.This concern aside, the pan is the perfect size (22cm x 22cm OR 8.5 inches x 8.5 inches) for cooking a couple of thick, boneless beef, venison, pork, lamb or chicken steaks as well as 2 or 3 bacon rashers, up to 4 x 1/4lb burgers and up to 10-12 sausages.I received mine today and it cooked my thick-cut 9oz/250g (beef) rump steak to perfection (I like mine rare) in 6 minutes, even though I did not preheat it sufficeintly before putting the steak into it > > > I have a gas cooker and I preheated the pan on a medium sized hob-ring for 90 seconds approx... it could have done with at least another minute.TIP > > > I line the pan with a single sheet of thick foil (and give the foil a few squirts of spray oil) so I do not have to wash the pan after use (I'm retired and essentially a lazy bugger!).ENJOY!!! {;-) R.

A bit smaller than I had expected and thought it might have been better if the handle was detachable to allow you to put in an oven.Otherwise heavy sturdy pan and good quality.

Durante el primer uso la carne se pegó y, tras un primer lavado, está toda oxidada. Además pone que es BIG, y es del tamaño de la palma de una mano. La peor compra que he hecho nunca en Amazon
