Didn’t use for roofing…
I didn’t use this for its intended purpose. I used this to hammer in the exposed and clipped nail shanks from a siding repair job. Since the nails are behind a row of siding, I used the fat end of this tool as a hidden nail fastener. Worked fairly well, and withstood some intense hammering. The finish definitely got marred up, but that was expected.

Broke within the first few minutes
At first I was excited by the tool, it was helping me remove and install shingles, but a few minutes into my project it snapped.Wish it was high quality, wish it would have lasted.Oh well, back to the old fashion way

GOOD TOOL
I bought this tool to repairs on my roof . It worked well . I could nail down the Shingle without trying to destroy the shingle above the one I was working on . Older shingle get brittleas they get older . This way I did not have to bend the older shingle up to much to drive a nailin the shingle below . This bar can take a beaten on to drive the nail in .

Broke after 4th nail
It would be good unfortunately it broke in a short time. I bought it 9 months ago but never used it and when it broke it was out of warranty, so far Amazon hasn't offered to do anything about it.

Worked great for five nails, then broke
Drove in five roofing nails on an asphalt roof, then on the sixth nail, the tool broke. Good tool concept but poor material selection. We do not recommend this product. If anyone knows of quality version of this tool, then please share!

Useless
Great idea but this tool is useless. Every nail I tried to hammer bent. Waste of money.
