Lasted 2.5 years. Not as good as my Eufy 30C
Have been using this for 2.5 years, on a daily clean cycle. Has just stopped working, and now just spins on the spot. Am impressed it has lasted so long. However, I also own a Eufy 30C which had now been going for 3.5 years. I've replaced them ILife 4 with another Eufy. The Eufy looks and feels better quality, but is more expensive. However, it's worth waiting until it is on offer.

This is so much fun!
Just thought I'd update this as we've had Nigel for several months now. I'm still a impressed now as I was when I first bought it. He potters around cheerfully cleaning and never complains. Ok, he's got stuck a couple of times but that's mostly been out fault. One thing I've noticed is that he struggles sometimes with his sensors. We've got a sofa with a valence round the bottom. He'll go under the sofa, pushing the valence out of the way. But once under, his sensors then see the valence as a obstacle and he'll stay under the sofa until his battery dies as he can't find his way out again. We just make sure we tuck it up and it's fine. All in all, this is still something I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.EDIT: Day 2 and still loving it. The reason for the edit though is that I've got a Logitech Harmony Hub. I got this to control the TV, etc, but had a look today and it has the codes for the A4S already built in. This means that you *can* control your A4S over the internet using your phone. Ok, it's not cheap to get the Harmony Hub but if you have one anyway then it's a bonus. This also means you get Alexa control if you have anything like Amazon Echos or Dots:"Alexa. Tell Nigel to start cleaning"Yes! OK, it's only had one outing so I can't comment on longevity but I'm very impressed with what I've seen. It's just negotiated the whole of our downstairs. Carpet in the lounge, wood flooring in the kitchen, hallway and utility room. There are 4 different rugs in various place as well. There's a table and chairs in the dining room and a table and chairs in the kitchen. The one in the kitchen is a maze of metal legs. This little machine went all round and picked up loads. The only time it got stuck was when it sucked up the net curtains on the patio door, but let's face it, there isn't a hoover that wouldn't. It's dead quiet. You could easily run it at night. The suction is very good. It managed to pick up a few bigger bits of plastic and a blackcurrant Skittle. The best bit was pressing the home button on the remote. Off it went, slowly drove onto the dock, and beeped to confirm that it was charging. This is easily the best money I've spent on something like this.I've been researching for months and this has made me very happy.

Its had its problems, but its done OK
The remote is pretty basic, but you can see what you're doing on there. Mine has been solid for around 2 years apart from 3 issues.1. Dust!Might sound daft, but the insides need a blow out with compressed air at least once a year, else the sensors can't sense and don't work, then the robot goes into error. (Be gentle on the internal cabling)2. Main underside rotatory brush sensor (4 beeps)This started beeping for no good reason, saying the central brush is not turning, even through I could see it is. Fix for this was to open the case, open the inner case that housed the pully belt and clean the area and pull the pully wheel slightly away from the case. The slight binding was enough for it do go into alarm.3. ON/OFF Microswitch on the topIt stopped working. Remote has on/off and scheduling is done from there, so no issue. We've hard floors, no carpet and it picks up ok on there, until the brush gets too dirty (with dog hair usually) and it leave clumps of hair around the house. The waste tray needs regular cleaning out and it always defaults to normal suction when a new cycle starts, not max suctionWould I buy (another) one: Yes, if the price dropped by about £50

FANTASTIC ROBOTIC HOOVER.
Fantastic although says suitable for thin carpets I've used on thick pile wool carpets and works brilliantly. I have Dyson Hoover's, which I always thought were the best, but as I'm partially disabled and was due to undergo spinal surgery, I didn't want to be reliant on others having to Hoover for me, so purchased 2 of these one for upstairs, one for down stairs. I hovered all through with Dyson day delivered, charged over night then set Robbie 1 (my pet name for them Robbie 1 & 2)) lose downstairs and boy oh boy couldn't believe how much there was in the dirt box. Considering I live alone I wasn't expecting the robotic hoover to pickup anything, I was mealy checking it would work on thick carpet. All in all extremely impressed with this gadget, remote control added benefit and all in in all a great highly recommended buy. I was so impressed I've also purchased one for my parents who have carpets and hardwood floors, mum equally impressed. Also purchased one for my sister who just can't believe how good it cleans. She to has Dyson Hoover, which struggles picking up her young daughter's hair has really long thick hair. Robotic hoover doesn't struggle with human hair and doesn't struggle with my longhaired teacup Chihuahua's really fine hair. All in all a great buy and i'm delighted with my purchase of four and recipients of two of my purchases can't praise it highly enough. Place docking station under a piece of furniture out of eye sight and just use remote control to call out when needed and it will work until losing power then take it's self back to docking station to recharge. Or use remote to send home. Can clean single room, all rooms if doors open, spot clean, or all around edges only, can't believe how impressive ghis machineis particularly for the price. Doesn't like wires so need to watch that, but otherwise just let it lose. Can program to start at set times. It's go so many features for the price its fanrastic. The seller is extremely helpfull and well informed on all the different models. I and my sister both have large four bedroom homes and Robbie preforms well. Can't recommend highly enough.
