Ministry Of Sound: Pump It Up - Aeroburn [DVD]

Good but not their best
I have all the other MoS workout DVDs and have now done this most recent release twice. As Gareth was involved, the choreography is a bit complicated, like in the Dancemix DVD. It is just a matter of being determined and concentrating, eventually you will learn the moves and get a sense of achievement. However, if you do not have the patience and prefer repetative, focussed and simple moves, this is NOT for you.Two things I am not so keen on:- the spinning moves. They just make me dizzy and I cannot see how they are of much benefit fitness-wise. So I just leave this part out.- some of the moves require a lot of space, such as the backwards grapevine. Once you are dizzy from the spinning and then have to run backwards across the room, you end up falling over the sofa, which is not ideal. Also, the whole thing seems a bit stiff overall - maybe because there are two instructors? But generally a lot of fun with great music! Loads of situps too.

what a load of rubbish
iam not impressed with this dvd by ministry of sound. first of all it was way too fast gives you 5sec to leanr the move then goes insanely fast which makes you trip over your feet! then even if you do keep going over an over the moves you still find it difficult to keep in time, if you accomplish the move you have to learn another one in 2 sec. second it does not state that you need a big hall! even my garden isnt big enough to go everywhere that he wants you to go. 3rd i didnt even sweat beside the fact i was finding it difficult to do the moves i just did not sweat, i do harder training session running for 10min and in the gym and i have sweat dripping off my face. 4th doing some of there streching moves i felt certain limbs of my body hurting that i have not felt before ever, when i do sit ups they do not hurt, one in this dvd hurt. that is not right, and i was doing it excally the way he was teaching it. 5th when your lying on floor and cannot see what he is doing he doesnt explain it well! had to keep getting up and seeing what he wanted me to do.6th how annoying is it to watch stick thin models have the hair utterly perfect with fake tan an makeup on waddeling around in a tiny skirt. put some shorts on and tie your hair back! peoplein the real world do not achieve that body by just using that dvd! they go gym dance classes an swimming! iam really dissapointed i was looking forward to a smashing work out and i didnt get what i payed for utterly dissapointed.iam going to stick to gym and bums an tumsi gave it a 1star because only thing that good about it is the music

Great intense fun workout!
I love this work out and thought it had everything I look for in an exercise DVD. I am pretty fit and have now done most of the MOS work outs, as well as a range of other workouts and have no idea how anyone could do the full workout properly without breaking a sweat. The workout is probably more in the intermediate to advanced end fitness wise, but a beginner would get good value for money as they would build up to aeroburn 1 and 2 which are the two main cardio sections.I love Gareth he makes me laugh, Stephanie the other presenter is ok but nothing on Gareth. For a 60 min workout it is perfect. I also hope to master the extra dance workout eventually. However, for those who loved the previous Pump It Up Dancemix with Gareth be warned this is much more aerobic as indicated on the title, although there is the extra dancemix work out which reminded me more of that DVD. Also for Aeroburn 2 in particular i could do with a bit more space although I solve this by making the moves a bit smaller. All in all a great workout and a happy addition to my work out collection!

My first fitness DVD and I'm impressed!
After reading other people's reviews, I was a bit worried that this would be far too difficult for me as I've only ever done very basic aerobic moves before. I do agree that for the first few tries, it can be a bit confusing, especially for a beginner like me, but it does get much easier to follow. The beat is a tad on the fast side but I think that's good as it makes you work out harder!I find this really fun to do (I was worried about getting bored with it really quickly) and I've done it about 5-6 times in the past week and lost a few lbs already (along with a healthy diet)! I've also noticed that my waist line is a tiny bit smaller too as my exercise trousers were snug before and now they're a bit baggy up there! Very happy with this purchase, it went beyond my expectations =)The only thing I don't like is the music but I can't complain as it's MoS and just personal preference; I do admit that it is the best music to work out to though =)I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a bit of a challenge and to really lose weight whilst having fun!

Excellent!
I am a big fan of fitness DVD's and in particular the MOS ones. I was a bit worried that Deanne Berry wasn't presenting this one as in the past hers have definately been the best. However, I was really impressed with this one and really like the presenter Gareth who managed to not be annoying at any point. The routines are fast paced and so it does take a couple of times doing the DVD to feel confident in the routines but I prefer something that is a bit challenging. It also really gets you working out and I always feel like I have burn't a good few calories by the end. Its also got an excellent section on the abs. I sometimes feel this part of fitness DVD's can be skipped over too quickly but its an excellent routine on this one.All in all I was really impressed with this and it will join my collection of regularly used routines.

Bad but good
This is one that I love and hate. The woman that gives her opinion through out the work out is ANNOYING, so the first time I did it I could not stand it. The workout itself is good. Later I found that the DVD gives an option to turn off commentary, so problem solved, I shut her up. Sadly I miss the comments from the guy but I am so glad I can workout with out her annoying voice.Had she not been in the DVD I would have given 5.
