Easy to put on!
This was the ONLY bike rack I could find to fit my fat bike.It is very easy to fit though and seems sturdy. I'm going to have many more bike packing adventures now that I don't have to carry all my stuff in a giant rucksack, the bike will take some of the load off now!

Usual Blackburn quality
I've had a few things from Blackburn - frame bags and other carriers and this is the same - well made and sturdy. Yes it's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Perfect for my 29 inch MTB. I use panniers and a rack as I prefer this to bike packing luggage

Excellent adjustable rack - Brown NOT Black
Good rack, can go on a normal sized bike or fat tyre bike. But, its not even close to being Black as its advertised, it is a light brown color. Fortunately with a child seat on it and some panniers, there is not much of the rack on display. It's light weight and very stable and strong due to multiple fixing points. I have fitted a Hamax Siesta child seat to the Rack and it's a perfect fit.

BE AWARE
The product is great but the Rack only comes in one colour which is silver,Brown metallic & not black as the picture misleadingly alludes to. I have contacted the seller regards this having recently ordered one for my black MTB.

A good idea but it seems the design team fell asleep halfway through.
The adjustable rack in principle is a good idea but there is too many design issues that require instant work to make it truly good. The issues I found so far:1: The long attachment struts require hacksawing to length as the machining on them is so inaccurate that installed in the correct position one of the bent ends sticks outwards into the rear of the pannier. The other one doesn't so the thread in the end is cut differentlyin the two.According to blackburn one is meant to do that anyways but come on, surely that could be avoided.2: The grub screws on the strut attachments stick out and will inevitably wear a hole into the back of the pannier. It requires either cutting the grub screws down making them potentially non-removable or adding something like a washer to the back of the strut attachments via glue.3: The bottom crossbar gets in the way of Ortlieb panniers, some of the most commonly used touring panniers. This could have been recessed but presumably that would have added a machining step. This requires one to modify the panniers by turning around and remounting the bottom clip.4: Some of the screws are aluminium for some strange reason which means mounting and remounting this rack to different bikes is only gonna happen a handful of times before those screws get stripped. It's like someone had a good idea and then everyone at blackburn forgot collectively how to test this rack in real world scenarios.Disappointing considering the high price point and the fact that Blackburn generally make some very nice kit.Going to buy a Tubus or OMM rack to replace this one.

Quality, fat bike specific rack
I bought this rack for my 2015 Specialized Fatboy and it fits perfectly. I have the stock 4.6" Ground Control tires on it and there is no doubt running the max 5" tire size will not cause any problems. I mounted the rack using the M4 screw mounts instead of using the extend thru-axle option. I also did not need to use the vinyl clamps for the rear stays; I just used the stock screws on the frame. The welds are definitely good quality and the two tone color looks great as well. There is no doubt this rack will hold the recommended 70lbs not that I will get close to that with my camping gear. I plan to run the waterproof Axiom panniers on this rack along with a basket of some sort for my dog to ride with me on occasion. All the screws are pre-coated with blue Loctite too. I believe all the screw were 4mm to you only need a single tool (included) to install which is great.I did not need to adjust the height of the rack either and I'm running it on the lowest setting so it will go pretty high if you prefer that. It will certainly clear 29er style tires with ease I am sure. My 26"x4.6"s are pretty close to the profile of a 29er fully inflated anyway. So, if you are looking for a high quality fat bike specific rack with multiple mounting options look no further.

Lots of mounting options - perfect fit for Ortlieb Classic Roller bags
First, I have little doubt that the designers used the Ortlieb Back-Roller and/or Sport-Roller Classic Panniers because they both fit perfectly.Initially I used this rack on my Surly Wednesday fork for as a front rack. Then I purchased a Tumbleweed Prospector and I removed it from the Wednesday and mounted it on the rear of the Prospector. It would have mounted flawlessly on the rear per their instructions, but it would have been 4-5 inches higher than the top of the tire. I thought that was too high. However, with some creativity and swapping round some parts (but no cutting), I was able to mount it so it rested only and 1.5 inches above the tire. This makes for a more stable load carrying.Well done, Blackburn Outpost mechanical engineers! It's not 5-star because I would prefer steel to aluminum. Yes, steel is heavier, but my Surly rear rack is steel, totally bomber, and isn't that much heavier!
