My life has changed for the better. I no longer half to squish myself in half to slide on my shoes!Thanks to this amazing piece of complex machinery I was able to easily slide on my shoes, all the while sitting straight up, now able to scan my surroundings for predators and marauders! Previously, while bending down to put on my shoes, I could only scan for small animals like armadillos and insects like fire ants. Now I can easily scan for large predators as well, because I sit straight up. Get this!!! It's nice sturdy metal too!

Long enough not making you bend. Sturdy but smooth at the same time. I thought it would be cold in the winter, especially when stored at the garage. But it wasn’t bad.

Works great and will last forever. Too big for travel, though. But at home, I can use it standing

I wear a brace on one foot and this shoehorn works perfectly for putting on both shoes. It is high quality, no rough edges and I can't imagine it bending.

This shoe is certainly sturdy and should last a lifetime. It was easy to put on my sneakers as that's where the sturdiness came in handy. My lone complaint is that the edges are too sharp. They should have been rounded out which is what I did myself. But all in all this was a good buy.

I have no idea why a metal shoe horn should be so expensive, but I know that a previously purchased two pack that was cheaper item bent almost immediately. So, although this is expensive, it is strong and sturdy and I expect to get years of use from it.

I didn't really think I needed a shoehorn until my dad complained that I was lacking one at my house. Now that I have it, I can't believe I have been trying to stuff my feet into my shoes like a chump all this time. I use this for all my runners and any shoe that is a pain to get on. This is especially helpful being a pregnant lady because it's hard for me to bend over without getting out of breath. Love this shoe horn. Very sleek and comfortable in the hand, perfect and fuss-free to get your shoes on.

What a perfect shoe horn. It isn't just for perhaps elderly people , or someone who has a hard time bending down, but if you already have your long coat on it makes it so much easier to put your shoes on. It also protects the back of your shoes. I already have one purchased a few years ago on amazon, and I purchased this one for my son who is ruining his shoes by just slipping them on without a shoe horn. It is very hard on the back of your good expensive shoes not using a shoe horn. This one is nice and long you hardly even have to bend over, it is smooth and very easy to use. We keep it in the hallway table where it is handy to use and we use it every time. It is a perfect gift, and a perfect usefull item for everyone to have. We wouldn't be without it.

It beats using your finger! Imagine walking into the office all hunched over with your finger stuck in the back of the shoe. How can you drive to work with a finger stuck in your shoe? Make life easy on yourself. Get a 17" metal shoe horn. In a million years when the alien archeologists go searching for artifacts, they will find my stainless steel shoe horn no the worse for wear. But, unless they know about shoes, they likely won't know how to use it.

I finally gave up replacing my long-handled plastic Ikea shoe horn - after the 3rd one cracked! - and purchased this metal one instead.Both my husband and I agree that we should have done this a long time ago. It's a 100% more effective and it's not going to break! When heading out the door in a rush, I can easily slip on my tied runners (which I'm often too lazy to undo when i kick them off), with this shoe horn!I noticed one reviewer complaining that they bent theirs!? I'm not sure how they did that - unless they used a hammer on it! ;)
