Cello Time Runners + CD: A second book of easy pieces for cello

Bought this for my 12-year-old who has worked her way through the first Team Strings Cello Book, and has been advised the her music teacher to purchase this one next.Easily accessible and well-laid out, this is a user-friendly book and comes with a helpful CD.

I am a professional musician (on other instruments!) and I teach music in a university but am a complete beginner on cello. I find these compositions and arrangements hugely helpful at keeping me playing in time and in tune. Obviously as the recordings on the CD only play at a given speed, you may have to practise each piece a bit before you're able to play along successfully. Keeping strict time really shows you which bits you're confident on & which bits require more work. As a teacher myself I appreciate the careful sequencing of pieces in their gradual increase in technical demands, which makes this series, as has been said, equally suitable for adult beginners.

This is the second book in the series my daughter has bought. The series provides some of the best and most exciting repertoire for young cellists. The book contains lively original tunes, easy duets, and traditional pieces and comes with a CD to the children can here how it should sound.

This is an easy book to follow for budding Cellists. It follows 'Cello Time Joggers'. The CD helps with the tempo and overall understanding of the pieces.

This was bought for my daughter, as she is learning to play the cello at school. There is a very good variety of music, with varying degrees of difficulty. She is enjoying working through the book and it is keeping her interest. An excellent follow on from Cello Time Joggers!

A great book to follow on from the cello time joggers, easy to follow with more lessons on using the bow and a little more advanced pieces of music which can really challenge the learner.

As this is a follow up to Cello Joggers we have not used it yet. I would highly recommend Cello Joggers for beginning cellist who are reading notes and learning rhythm. I allowed my 8 year old son to choose any song he wanted. He was able to decipher it and play it correctly in less than 20 min. It gave him a sense of accomplishment that he "taught" himself a new song. This book was recommended by our Cello teacher for us to use during summer break.Knowing this I purchased Cello Runners which is a little harder for the near future.

Bon recueil de morceaux variés, sympathiques et agréables à jouer. Le cd d'accompagnement est un vrai plus, vraiment un bon achat pas cher.
