About this item 🔸100% pure Cedarwood Himalayan Essential Oil. 🔸When used in aromatherapy it has a calming and grounding aroma. Woody, rich and balsamic scent. 🔸Do Not Use Undiluted on skin. Product description The appearance of this fabulous oil ranges from a rich amber to brown colour and is relatively viscous with a deep woody, balsamic aroma. The Himalayan Cedar wood is one of the few ‘true’ cedars and is native to the Himalayan region including eastern Afghanistan, northern India and northern Pakistan. It presents itself with dark blue-green needles and drooping branches that allow it to endure the harshest of the Himalayan conditions. Traditional uses and health benefits: In aromatherapy, the Cedrus deodora has an interesting plethora of applications whether used in diffusion or massage. Amongst it's most popular uses, it is reputed to help relieve those chesty coughs and congested sinuses when added to a carrier oil and massaged into the top of the back and chest. It is also believed to help relieve muscular and articular pains, therefore particularly prized by sportsmen and women be it pre or post workouts. In diffusion, the Cedrus deodora is excellent in purifying and sanitising the air throughout your household with its refreshing yet appeasing aroma. Again, in a more medicinal manner it is highly effective in helping alleviate and clear those chesty coughs and blocked sinuses by fluidifying the mucus. Another practical use is to use the oil's astringing properties to help you combat greasy hair or scalp and even dandruff. Love excellent, quality 100% pure essential oils for healing and personal transformation. Product packaged beautifully and included the best informative little insert. YET, it is NOT possible to believe that this product contains100% Himalayan Cedarwood Essential Oil. Bought over £20 worth of Naissance essential oils (for the fabulous free shipping). As a high-quality, pure essential oil user for many years, think YLiving + the like, only one ordered Naissance essential oil has anything near the pungency, strength and proper scent of an undiluted essential oil (that was the lavender, and it isn't great). The three tree oils all smell like plastic + soapy with the faintest authentic appropriate scent, of the scent indicated by the bottle label, of essential oil. No RE-funds, either, which is criminal and badKarma. Saw on Tryst pilot that others realized this company cuts, AKA dilutes, their essential oils... and I believe this is so... or else these are lab-manufactured 100% essential oils. Would be SO MUCH HAPPY-er if I'd searched reviews online 1st. Deeply sad to waste time, energy, and money. Low-quality oils offer none of the benefits that a high-quality 100% pure essential oil does. Carefully choose the highest quality product that you can afford, or you will regret it. Sigh.

Horrible at first but wait...
I bought this and immediately wanted to return it, it smelt disgusting (to me like cheese). Then I read other reviews and did not send it back straight away. A few days later I smelt it again and it was not nearly as bad, I added it to a few subtle notes and it’s a wonderful scent, you only need a tiny amount in a mix and it has this lovely rich woody smell. This scent needs to be combined so don’t judge it by itself ;)

Love this product on my scalp. I mix it with coconut and almond oil and my hair loss is no more an issue.

Lovely, complex fragrance - no harshness or 'chemical' notes, unlike some other Cedar oils.Good value for money (especially when considering fair trade & environmental ethics of this company.)

Just doesn't smell like cedarwood. Smells more citrusy, almost like lime extract. Not very happy about this product.
