These are genuine Bose replacements. I have bought these before from the Bose shop and they are the same. However they are very very fiddly to fit. The others from Bose were just the same. the old ones come off easily but trying to get the new ones on is a pain. warm them a bit to make the fixing collar a bit more supple then start to feed the collar into the groove around the earpiece whilst trying to hold it in place. work down both sides towards the bottom. Holding it tight with one hand, and with other hand use a small plastic lever, improvise, a plastic child’s spoon handle will do, and gently lever the last bit over. Check it’s all in the groove.They are Bose quality, so no problems there, but they are also Bose price. Don’t get cheaper aftermarket ones, you’ll split them trying to fit them, and go mad in the process.

I purchased these to replace my original headset pads which had perished away Bose as a company are high end and their merchandise is not cheap so I wasn't happy in the first place the ear cushions deteriorated in the first place I assumed replacement of these would be a simple task I now know otherwise. Both the written instructions and you tube video show that what you have to do it feed this piece off flimsy plastic in to a groove all the way round the headset stretching as you go , sounds simple enough right? How wrong ,there is nothing to keep it in place once you done this and the flange is not rubber like you would expect so it grips but cheap plastic so no matter how many times you attempt this once you have one side on and try to stretch the other side across the side you've put on comes off again and the material of the new ones now looks as bad as the old with all the pulling and stretching to get it onThis is a total joke for a company like bose to design something so un user friendly and complete junk You have to then ask yourself if they ever want you to be able to replace parts After 3 days, numerous attempts , more swearing than a mans prison and agonising finger tips which feel like the nail has come away from the ends of my fingers I have abandoned it totally and currently have one sideof my headset with no cushion what so ever Save your money and your sanity and throw your bose headset in the bin and never support a company that see it as acceptable to use designs a nursery kid could outdo Total waste of my time patience and sanity

Very tricky to fit but once done is good. I gave up as had no patience so partner had to do it.

The ear pads were fine but an absolute nightmare to fit. Ended up paying a local Computer business to fit them! It was no easy task for them either.

These replacement foam pads are of great quality but difficult to get on my headphones straight out of the box. I recommend getting the top or the bottom of the pad locked in, then use a hairdryer on medium setting to warm the pad. Hold the end you have got in firmly, without any slack material where possible and pull the connecting edge over each side whilst tucking in, then pull tightly up to get them over the opposite edge! It makes for sore fingers but the result is well worth it! Good luck 👍

In terms of quality and comfort the official Bose ear pads cannot be beaten, however, they are an absolute nightmare to fit! They're extremely badly designed in that they are fiddly and awkward to attach. I only managed to get them on by using a hairdryer to help stretch the cushion skirt over the edge and using a plectrum to help persude the skirt into the slot. Requires ridiculous amounts of patience, a bit of brute strength and lots of swearing.

Absolutely the worst design ever. It is nigh on impossible to fit these replacement pads. Totally lost the will to live attempting to fit these. Online videos depict the fitting process and claim to complete the task within minutes, i have been at it hours, without any success. Either the replacement pads I've purchased are far to small to fit, or I haven't the skill set to replace them, I'm not too sure. Not added anymore stars to review questions above, as I still have not been able to fit them.

Great replacement easily fitted

I paid $58.87 for these. They didn't fit my Bose headphones. It cost me $14 to return them and I was only refunded $50!!! Don't risk buying these. If they don't fit you'll be out of pocket 20 bucks.

The install is not very easy - like putting a tire on a rim - you almost want a professional to do it. But like most things in life that frustration last like one minute (per ear.) Unfortunately it doesn't make any sounds going on (except maybe some swearing when it slips off) so you have to give yourself your own cheer of completion.It's not really that hard just a little tricky - If you needs a replacement like I did because the original tore. Just get it and take a few deep breaths and get some decent light. You'll probably be done before the end of the commercial.

Ricambio originale per le cuffie "on-ear", che essendo in pelle sintetica tendono a deteriorarsi con tempo e uso, ed è bello vedere che Bose produce ricambi anche anni dopo la fine della produzione dei suoi prodotti.Detto questo, i materiali sono morbidissimi e dato quanto ho dovuto faticare per montarli e quanto ho tirato per farli calzare, direi che sono pure molto robusti. Il problema è che è stato davvero difficile montarli, spero di non doverlo fare più per almeno 4 o 5 anni!

Net zoals vele anderen heb ik me vergist in de aankoop van deze vervangende originele Bose ear-pads. Ik kan van mezelf best zeggen dat ik goed ben in gepriegel om iets goed voor elkaar te krijgen. Ik had de recenties gelezen en dacht dat ik het me wel zou lukken om ze te monteren. Ik heb me hierin heel erg vergist. Het probleem is dat het randje van de ear-pad wat in de gleuf van de headset moet vallen op deze ear-pad niet recht is maar omhoog gekruld staat. Samen met het feit dat de rand op de ear-pad gewoon te strak is maakt dat het zo dat je dit product niet gemonteerd krijgt.Doe jezelf een plezier en gooi je geld niet weg hieraan. Ik heb nu niet originele ear-pads gekocht via amazon. Ze waren binnen een paar minuten allebei gemonteerd en mijn bose-on-ear hedset klinkt weer als vanouds.

Totally impossible to fit on the earphones... Managed to get the left one to fit after about 15 min of trying but the right one is just impossible, it's just too small, too tight fit. Tried for +1 hour yesterday, watching Youtube-videos, got blisters on my fingers/thumb and just gave up from sore fingers. And to make things worse the fabric on the cushion got a hole in it now for me trying to fit it... A waste of money and I'll try buing cheaper third party ear pads and see if they fit better.
