Delicious, easy to use
I love these pour-over coffees. These are similar to the Copper Cow Coffee in terms of structure, but the hooks on these are a little larger and more robust so they are less likely to fall into the mug while pouring. Lovely, sweet flavor.

Bitter, sour, and unaromatic
This one is bitter and too sour. There is minimum amount aroma. Other UCC coffee tastes and smells better.

Pour-over coffee perfection
One of the great delights of a visit to Japan is the broad availability of cheap, good coffee. Every street corner has a vending machine selling hot and cold coffee in cans, much of it from UCC, the company behind this product. But Japan also has a boutique coffee culture, centered around cafes and vintage 'kissaten' coffee shops; many of them specialize in pour-over coffee similar to what you'd find in a third wave coffee shop in the US, and that's more like what these "ippuku" coffee packets seem to be trying to bring to your morning routine.I first encountered pourover packets like this for Vietnamese coffee. The concept is that you tear off the lid of the filter bag, expand the paper clips and tuck them onto the edge of your mug, then slowly pour boiling water into the filter bag, allowing the grounds to bloom and extracting a perfect cup. The results are almost as good as something like a Kalita Wave, but without needing a coffee grinder and with no cleanup afterwards.I found these worked very similarly to the previous Vietnamese coffee packs I've tried. The clip design is okay, but could use a little barb/hook to hold it in place on larger cups. (Some others offer this feature, but the cut is straight on the ippuku.) We usually use Starbucks "You Are Here"/"Been There" sized 14oz mugs, and their short-and-wide design is just a little too much for these to stay open; a standard mug is fine, though.Brewing is straightforward. I like to moisten the grounds, let them 'bloom', then stir them once before completing the pour, but that's definitely optional. Keep going until your cup is full, then discard the packet. Easy! There are two flavors of this coffee, and I was able to review them both side by side. SABI COZY, this one, is what I'd be looking for in an evening/after dinner coffee; it's very smooth with very little bitterness evident. I think WABI DAILY, the other blend, is the one that is most like a classic American morning coffee roast; it's a medium boldness and has just a hint of bitterness to it. In our family, the longtime habitual coffee drinker preferred WABI DAILY and the recent convert who switches between coffee and tea preferred SABI COZY, so that might help you decide if you're trying to only pick one. Both were high quality beans and roasts; I'd say on the grand scale of coffee they were a B or B+, which is pretty good! For a convenient packet you can throw in your luggage or purse, they're at the very top of the rankings and the results are far better than any instant coffee I've tried. These packets would be fantastic for camping, travel or an RV. They might be a little too expensive to use every day, but as a travel problem solver or an indulgent luxury, they're a great purchase. I recommend you start with a box of both and do your own taste test to discover your favorite.

Convenient
It’s not a bad coffee at all but I will prefer to add some milk to it because I feel it’s a bit too bitter. it’s very convenient to prepare, you can easily get a cup of true coffee with a bug or even a paper cup.

Perfect on the go vacation coffee
If you're a coffee lover like me, then you'll definitely appreciate this Pour Over Coffee. The flavor profile is rich and smooth, and the brewing process is quick and easy. Plus, the single serve design is perfect for on-the-go coffee drinkers who want a high-quality cup of coffee without having to wait in long lines or spend a lot of money at coffee shops. The packaging is also well-designed, making it easy to store and transport. This product is definitely a winner in my book! The taste is surprisingly rich and complex, and the coffee has a nice smooth finish. The packaging is also very convenient and easy to use. However, I do wish that there were more servings in each package, as it's easy to go through them quickly if you drink a lot of coffee. I found the price to be a bit steep compared to other single serve coffee options on the market. Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a high-quality pour over coffee experience, but be aware that it may not be the most cost-effective option.I did notice that the packaging is a bit wasteful, as each serving requires its own filter and drip bag. Additionally, the price point may be a bit high for some consumers. Despite these minor drawbacks, I still think that this product is a great option for anyone who loves pour over coffee and wants a convenient, high-quality brewing experience. For me - I'll be continuing to pack this when I hit the road - as it's the right balance between convenience and time expense for me.

Great concept, poor execution.
I've had pour over coffee prior to trying this UCC ippuku SABI COZY Blend Single Serve Japanese Style Pour Over Coffee. The packet itself is extremely flimsy and does not stay in place (I had to use tape to hold it in place because it kept falling into the standard size small mug prior to pouring water in), nor does it hold its shape when water is being poured in. Once past the frustration of attempting to make a cup of coffee with this coffee packet, I found the overall flavor bitter and strong (in an unpleasant way). Would not recommend.
