German watch with japanese automatic movement TMI-NH35 A1434

I'd been researching pilots watches for a few weeks and having come to terms with the fact I was out of the market for an IWC or Laco, turned my attention to other less well known brands. Aeromatic 1912 was a brand I'd hadn't heard of, but having read a few positive reviews and articles online about this particular timepiece I decided to roll the dice. I was not disappointed, as not only does it look as good in the flesh, it also comes with a reassuring weightiness which only increases the quality feel when on wrist. The dial is easy to read, the second hand sweeps beautifully thanks to that 24 Jewel Seiko movement and the 40mm dial will suit both the slender and larger wrist. The only dislike is the very tan strap, which although nicely branded with Aeromatic 1912 logos to the buckle and underside, was just far too brown for my tastes. Luckily I was already prepared for this, having simultaneously ordered a 20mm Archer canvas faded olive strap, which for me is the finishing touch for this watch.
