Lovely table but think about the surfaces you intend to use it on.
Intended as a gift for a left-handed user. The primary purpose was to use a laptop on a sofa or in an arm chair. The Good Points (the reason for 4 stars):There are a lot of good reviews for bed use and I can see why, as the table looks like it would work very well on a flat surface like a bed. I also gave it a test on the floor, and it makes a wonderful floor table for anyone who wants to sit on the floor when using a laptop, tablet or even just reading a book. The table was well-packaged. There was a slight break in the box, which looked like it had been caused by some rough handling during transit, but the inner packaging did its job, was unbroken and the table was completely undamaged. The table is very strong, very sturdy, and has a lovely smooth finish. The edges and the rounded corners are well-finished and smooth. It is a very smart table to look at.The adjustable legs were easy to adjust and settled into place well wherever we set the leg length. There are hooks that lock the legs into place when open. While one is slightly loose so flops when trying fold the table and put it away, it does it job when set up as a very stable lock on the leg it is paired with. It also stays in its 'bed' position once the table is packed away. The hinge to lift up and angle the laptop looks somewhat flimsy, but it actually turns out to be quite stable. We don't see a reason to go beyond the first notch, which lifts the laptop into a somewhat high angle (by the standards of a first notch). We found this angle to be the perfect angle for working at. The higher notches look like they will be good for book reading. The table is surprisingly large but not hard to move around. It can take a 19" laptop without any problems and still have room to spare on the sides for a mouse, small notepad, and possibly even a cup of tea. It's completely ambidextrous. The recipient is left-handed, and had no problem with the layout of the table. The right-handed people in the household also had no problems with the layout of the table. The Bad Points (the reason why it's not 5 stars):The package specifies exactly what is inside the package, which was a problem for me as it was intended as a gift, and it had to come to the same house the recipient lived in. Fortunately, they didn't handle the package so didn't see the wording, but the box could have spoiled the surprise. So, bear that in mind if you purchase this as a gift for someone else. The side drawer is very loose. It doesn't come free of the table entirely but is very prone to dropping open whenever the table is being moved around (either to put away or set up) and this can be a little annoying. Once the table is settled into position, the drawer isn't a problem.I do not recommend this for use on a sofa due to the nature of the leg lengths. The very shortest leg length is far too high for use on a sofa with very thick seating cushions because it results in the laptop ending up at breastbone height, which is unusable. There's no way to balance it across the arms of an arm chair that has even slightly rounded arms, and the width of the table is too wide for such a seating position to be comfortable.Summary:As the recipient can't use it in bed or on the floor, the table was ultimately unusable for them. I therefore cannot recommend it for sofa/arm chair use. Sofas have issues with cushion depth, roundness of shape, width and depth of seating area. It just doesn't work. However, both I and the recipient thoroughly recommend it for bed or floor use, or even positioned on a low table to increase the height of the table -- anything with a flat surface should be great. We discussed options with the seller given that the recipient cannot use the table as intended, and came to a keep/partial refund arrangement. The seller was fantastic to deal with -- responsive, pro-active and polite. While this has left us with a table the recipient cannot use as intended, and me buying them a different table that better suits their situation, my own circumstances in the near future will change in a way that will probably make this table very useful for me to use, something I won't hesitate to do because I do like this table a lot.

Good value for money/Great service from Seller
The product:Very satisfied with the overall quality of the table. It is surprisingly sturdy considering the price ..so better than what I was expecting. The little draw is not very practical as it’s really too small to put much in and doesn’t come out very far but that isn’t really an issue for me. I like the slots at the back of the table so I can put an iPad and mobile phone in without taking up space on the tabletop..great idea...I do craft so table was handy while recuperating from an operation. Plenty of leg room and the legs can easily be extended although I would have liked a height gauge on each side as you can’t tell if you’ve extended each leg to equal height so table wouldn’t be lopsided unless you extend it to the max..but again it’s not too much of an issue for me as I don’t need to extend the legs much anyway. Love the fact that part of the table top can be tilted and I am able to read a book hands free while laying back in bed...the baffle stops the book from sliding off when it’s tilted and it can be set to different tilt gradients if needed. The service: was excellent from this sellerDelivery was quick and seller had emailed a curtesy email to let me know the table was dispatched. Sadly the table arrived but was missing the small baffle at the front which stops things slipping off when table is tilted...so I emailed the seller through Amazon to ask if they were able to send this piece separately to me as I was happy with the table but needed it to be complete. I received a very quick and courteous reply from the seller asking about the part in question and was informed by another quick email that they were sending a new table to me Instead of the part. I received the new table a few days later complete with the baffle. Amazing hassle free service..thank you to the seller.

Bamboo - Folding table laptop desk
It is very nice. The bamboo finished is ok, quite light weight but overall the structure is delicate and should be handled with care. I found that the legs needed further tightening. The table legs adjustment again is fragile and not so comfortable to adjust. Once you set a comfortable height I think its worth leaving it. The little draw off the right hand side of the table is cute but not meant for pens. I have a laptop pen which fits nicely. I also found the slits for iPad of tablets works fine and also have my iPhone in the smaller slit. Works fine on your bed or on the sofa. I gave it 4 star because of the fragile parts of the frame (table legs)

Nicely made and sturdy
This unit is preferable over the cheaper alternative, because of its balance and workspace. Having a small shelf area on either side of the tilting table means it suits both left and right handlers, and gives you somewhere to park a drink. In use it is sturdy and looks well made. The unit is ideal for use in bed, or with lounge furniture that has a wide seat front to back. This is because balancing the legs on furniture with shorter seats (front to back) does not leave much room for error. The unit also works well as a booster when placed on an existing desk, for use by those who need or prefer to work standing up.

Well made
I used this for my i.pad no good for computer as the angle of the tilt made typing easier you cannot see the screen but very well made its still going strong after a year

Great table with a couple of niggles needing attention
A really nice little laptop table which looks great as well.A couple of little things that cost it the fifth star. The first is that one of the locks that stabilise the legs was slightly off from the hole it goes into and the second is that you can’t actully put a pen in the drawer and close it because of the block stopping the drawer from falling out. Maybe the makers should measure a pen and make the drawer slightly wider as the pen only goes in at an angle anyway, and maybe put the blocks on the outside of the drawer instead!Luckily I have a husband who has fixed these niggles and he gets the fifth star!
