Compact Mini Pocket Diagnostic Set from Valuemed Mini Otoscope

I held off reviewing this until I worked out how to use it properly because it really would not of been fare to write a review on something that I had little to no knowledge about.After the first attempt I replaced the batteries that came with it for some of the batteries we have at home and this really made a huge difference which surprised me.nI persistently looked into anyone's ears who came near me when I had it to hand and I googled how to see into ears... A lot.Eventually I worked out what I was doing and how to use this. It turns out it's actually really handy. 2 of our children have lovely healthy ears, great eardrums and you can just see the bones behind the eardrums. All by placing it just on the rim of the ear. Not inside the ear and not away from the ear. Just resting on the rim. One of my children had an ear operation when she was younger and this eardrum looks wonderful however she has glue ear in the other ear which she is being treated for and I was able to see this clearly. Our son had what seams to be an earwax blockage and right away we took him to the doctor and it is a blockage of earwax. We have now been advised on what to do and we would not of known if I hadn't looked with this and googled these things and how to use them.I can now monitor the ears of my children safely and prevent any future issues by promptly responding to anything unusual.This is wonderful. I did not notice any difference in the heads supplied and I don't know if I will use the throat looking thing but the plastic sticks are supplied along with a holder so you can see into the throat I guess.Box is not much and it doesn't close very well but it keeps everything together safely.I am over all very impressed and really glad we got this.Worth the money. Bargain price, worth us having at home with lots of children.Ideal, thankyou

did what we needed it for, simple design , needed it to check our daughters ears after they became blocked, used this in combination with ear drops and a ear squirter to unblock her ears and save her suffering for a 1 month appointment with the ear hospital to get them syringed 5 days of drops then squirter then check with this best money I have spent. doesn't come with a case which is disappointing and often falls apart but some super glue resolved that and for the price I wasn't expecting a great deal.

Bulb was faulty, but seller was very helpful and new pen dispatched very quickly. Product is okay, not brilliant and certainly not medical grade, but fine for price paid and will suit for our purpose .

its cheap, it works, i can see in a ear but i wouldnt rate this product as good as the light is not bright enough. everything was in the boix, but one item in the box i havent a clue what its for and have sent an email to see if the seller knows.

First, The delivery was great, I got it within 1-2 days, which is very good from the seller. But, the product is not as good as it looks but compared to its price, it is OK. For Future I would pay more 10 or 15 pounds and get a better one. I work in A&E but I bought this so I don't need to take my baby to the GP when he pulls on his ear, but the vision is not brilliant. It is hard to say whether he got infection or not.

Got this for my son't play doctor kit. It is cheap enough to be a toy. Not the best quality but what can you expect for the price

This is exactly as you'd expect. It does the job exactly as you'd expect. However, all the parts are plastic so it's not going to last. However, at that price, who cares.

Purchased for new member of team as initial intro to ear/ oral cavity inspection.
