I bought this to replace the original dishwasher cutlery basket I got with my integrated Hotpoint dishwasher as the bottom under one of the ends had some loose causing smaller items of cutlery to fall through to the bottom of the dishwasher.As this one was listed as 'universal' I presumed it would fit like-for-like, however when it arrived I soon found out that the one that came with my dishwasher had specific grooves underneath it so the basket would sit & slide over the plate spacers on the bottom row - this one doesn't have that, and so would fit on the bottom row of my dishwasher.Sadly it was of no use to me & as such went straight in the bin & I went back to the original (if slightly broken!) basket, that aside it did actually look a pretty good replicate of the version I was using just with a slightly more flimsy sliding top section.I can't be too harsh with my feedback as it was partly my fault for not checking... just make sure if you buy this one that you don't have one of the baskets with grooves along the bottom.

This cutlery basket is doing its job perfectly well. It fits the space and fits the dimensions given in the listing. Some reviewers have given this a bad review saying that it doesn't fit - surely you'd measure the space before you ordered and check against the measurements given? (I did anyway!).It seems sturdy enough, certainly no less sturdy than the one which came with my dishwasher. Some people have complained about the handle coming off - we have had no such problems.Good value for money - would certainly recommend!

My old dishwasher basked was letting cutlery handles go down and interfere with the washer arm. This one seemed like a decent replacement. So far so good- it is a bit narrower than the OEM one which is no problem. Dont expect it to last forever but it is working great and not a cheapo version. Good VFM (value for money)

The only reason I give four stars rather than 5 is that some of the handles of my cutlery still pop through the bottom of this so the holes must be. little bigger than my previous one. Other than that it does exactly what it says on the tin!

Needed a new cutlery holder for our dishwasher. This fitted into the space well and does the job.

Bought for my Hotpoint dishwasher as the original one cracked. This one is built well but doesn't fit easily into the machine as it doesn't have the two vertical slots of the original. I can't mark the product down for that as it's not the fault of the basket but it doesn't work for me.I paid £11 on Amazon for an original replacement from Hotpoint themselves

Good. One side has a double opening which I have no need for as I don't put anything wide in that wouldn't stand tall enough to knock the water sprinkler - so no necessary and just a bit messy. But good solid plastic - better than original and last replacement. Handle a little sloppy. Fine for the price.
