Babyliss Pro Ceramic Dial A Heat Hair Tongs with 25 Heat Settings Curler Wand (BLACK)

I have very (very) long, thick hair that is quite straight and usually is difficult to get curls to stay in. I wanted big, glossy, sexy bouncy waves/curls and this is exactly what this product did! It was easy to use (I used it on heat setting 25) and it only took about 20 mins to do all my hair! The trick is to spray your hair lightly with hairspray first BEFORE you curl and to use small sections of hair, the curls made were big, bouncy and shiny and lasted well into the second day - I think if I had taken more time with them they would have lasted longer!I don't think you can go wrong with this product, you just have to be realistic in your expectations - straight hair can't be curled and stay in perfect curls for days on end, but this product is a great cheat and gives saloon results certainly for a day.

I wanted some wide barrel hair curlers for those loose, effortless waves, and found this Babyliss Wand. They're a little hit and miss at times, sometimes they seem to take a while to heat up, and other times they are heated in seconds and create a wonderful curl with no problem. They take a lot of practice to get right, and you definitely need a heat glove or you will burn yourself! I would recommend curling at least a day after washing your hair so that it is a little drier, which may help with people whose hair just doesn't seem to keep the curl, like mine. I liked the temperature gauge, although I just keep it on the highest, and I also like that it has an automatic switch off if you accidentally leave them on. Overall, a good product.

Got recommended this product by my hair salon that used this on my hair. Really nice curling wand, easy to create perfect loose waves because the barrel is quite big - I have long hair so this barrel suits me better than smaller barrels. Many heat settings to suit your hair type - read the instructions before using to make sure you don’t damage hair!

I was really hesitant to buy this after reading mixed reviews. I figured for the price it was worth taking a chance. The item came really quickly.It heats up quickly and gets really hot and it's fairly easy to use - clamp the hair in and wind it round. The effect is more tousled than curly - my hair is pretty long and I didn't get big curls like I thought I would. My hair still looked nice though - it was more of a natural look. I put a bit of spray to make it last and then went out. When I got back some of the effect had dropped but not badly.Overall, I'm a bit on the fence about this - I was hoping for big curls, which I definitely didn't get, but I am happy with the effect.

I loved these tongs as they create a lovely curl however they didn't last very long as the handle/ wire turns as you use them which causes the power to turn off and damages your wires.

After reading all the fabulous reviews on this item, I thought it would be the one for me, i have long hair and couldn't wait to have lovely loose curls. However that was not the outcome I got. The manual said to have it on setting 18-22 for thick hair, which i did - this did not curl my hair, I then turned it up to 25 which is fro Afro hair - this setting again did not curl my hair. I tried thin sections of hair, I held my hair in for 5 minutes and nothing, not a kink and no curl. Highly disappointed in this product and will be returning it for my money back.

I bought these tongs for creating very loose waves but have to say you don't get quite as smooth and stayable hair as you do with heated rollers, Its easy to use and has different heat settings so you can use it on a variety of hair types - generally I'm happy with it but its not the very best tong I've used.

Wasnt sure reading the reading the various reviews but my hairdresser recommended them to give fuller curls and stop the fluffy flyaway curls that I get especially in damp weather. They are great, the hair is nicely smooth, no kinks at the end that you get from the smaller tongs. Only one problem hence the 4 stars dont forget to put the little stand in each time you apply to your hair as it gets very hot and burns! I wonder why this cant be in heat resist material as the tip of the tongs are?
