Hard to find product. I was excited to find it on Amazon. It's the exact same product the Podiatrist gave me. It does the job. I hand washed the one the doctor gave me and it didn't work the same. So don't wash, just order extra. Good product and does what it's supposed to do.

I do not particularly like the product because I do not think it is going to do any good to correct my toes. It does not seem that supportive at all.

My orthopedic surgeon dispensed a Darco Toe Alignment Splint (in addition to a walking boot) to me during the checkup after my bunion surgery. After a while of wearing it, it no longer smelled good, so I decided that I’d see if I could buy one on Amazon so that I’d have a backup. The one that I received from this Amazon seller came in a ziplock bag (whereas the one that came from my surgeon’s office came in a box). Nonetheless, the splint inside was the same. (I’m including a pic of both in order to illustrate the different packages that this splint can come in.)Regarding washing: once I received the second toe alignment splint, I did wash the first one in a delicates bag in cold water in the washing machine and then hung it to dry. It survived that process just fine and didn’t lose any shape, elasticity, etc.I’d buy this product again, and I’m very satisfied with my buying experience.

I have a toe that’s giving me issues, my doctor recommended this product to stabilize and keep the toe down. This splint hurt my toe and didn’t really correct the problem.Also, note that the return policy for this seller requires the item to be unopened…if I would have known this, I would never have taken the chance and purchased this.
