OAKWOOD 14ft Beach Caster Surf Rod 4-8 OZ Sea Fishing 3 Piece + Sea Reel & Line

I used it the day it arrived and found the action of the rod to be very good and the reel to be of a better quality than I expected. Also managed to catch a 4lb Bass on the second cast, 5.5lb bass on the fifth cast. Reacted to the take and played the fish with no problems. Looking at getting a another rod and reel set very soon.

100% would recommend to a friend! The 3 peice rod is so cheap compared to a standard rod you'd find in a shop and the rod itself would surprise you! Its incredibly durable and lightweight (you couldn't tell if it was a cheap rod). I've had this rod for months now and I haven't had any issues with it. I feel like it last for quite a while!

Not a bad combo , ideal for basic beach fishing, casts ok easily putting 6oz lead 100yds although rod is quite heavy but it’s not a top of the range tournament rod , does the job for the money , the reel is pretty good too

I love it, what a bargain. If you look after this rod, there is no reason why it won't last a long time and it's strong, the reel is smooth and the set up is firm thankyou guys

I wasn't sure about this set, but it didn't disappoint. As far as value for money it's a cracking rod and reel.I got it for a fishing trip with my grandson but it has now replaced my main set up.So yes definitely worth the money.

Perfect cheap beach caster I've put it up to the challenge and it's taken heavy use no reason why it won't last for years if taken care of and same for the reel built for purpose chuffed with items
