I don't like to leave a negative review but I am not happy with this product. It is very drying to my hair and also it seems to leave bits in my hair. Will not be buying again.

Perfect product for my hair type. I use it with the conditioner from the same line and i always use a cleansing shampoo to go with them. I find that it doesn’t leave my hair heavy or crusty, feels naturally curly and it tames it

So first of all this gel holds my waves like no other gel I’ve tried. Great definition, tighter curl pattern, not much frizz, holds for a couple of days. BUT … it also makes my hair feel kind of dry and crispy, even after SOTC. My hair definitely feels “products” with this on it. It has a kind of grainy feel when I first apply it, even though the product is really runny, that is just plain weird. On the topic of its being so runny, it is very difficult to manage getting the right amount out from the tube, as it just sort of shoots out. I do brush styling and I often want to get a handful of gel out with one hand while I’m holding the brush or my hair in the other, and that’s impossible with this packaging. A bottle with a pump would be so much easier. I don’t care for the smell either. As it is unfragranced there is a bit of inherent chemical scent to it that is surprisingly strong. I feel so divided about this product. It’s plus points are really positive, but there are a lot of odd things about it too. However my hair looks great when I use it, so perhaps that is the deciding factor.

This product smells amazing, however I haven't seen any change to my hair and if you use too much it leaves your hair crusty and has this super horrible texture so be careful not to use too much!

Make my curly hair amazing. After 1 day of use next day I only spray water and the hair looks curly and soft. Not recommend to use every single if you do gets hard .

I'm completely new to the whole type 2 hair and gel scenario. I've only recently grown it out and managed to get my hair to need washing once a week. But I thought it was high time I tried a gel to see what the hype was all about, and glad I did! I used a small bit on my damp hair, 4 days after washing it and it looked amazing! It was all volume, shine and waves! I honestly couldn't believe my hair could look that good so long after washing! Can't wait to use it again!

Brought this for my granddaughters. They rate this very highly, they say it makes their hair silky.

I love Shea Moisture products and have been a user of a lot of their curly line. I got this product as a replacement for a curly hair product that I couldn't find. I have wavy hair on top and curly at the bottom so I wanted a product that could control the frizz on top of my hair yet still have my curls looking nice. This product does okay with that. My biggest problem with it is its quite watery so when you squeeze alot comes out and if you put too much in your hair, your hair will feel crunchy. Otherwise, it smells wonderful and keeps my hair under control.

Fantastica, penso che fino ad ora è lo styling migliore che abbia mai trovato. Infatti ora è diventato un must have. Lascia i miei capelli morbidissimi, hanno un aspetto sano, e sono definiti!!!!! Defini, cosa non scontata quando hai tanto volume e hai i capelli che tendono a diventare crespi. E poi ha un profumooo.

This hair product company is simply the best. I was never disappointed by their product. This hair gel is exactly what I would expect for hair gel for wavy/curly hair. It is not sticky, it has light hold but eliminate frizz, AWESOME smell and simply nice, good product.

Meine Lockeb lieben es. Ich hätte es mir von der Konsistenz her dicker vorgestellt. Das Produkt ist schon sehr flüssig.
