I bought these to give as gifts. The candles do not smell nice. The packaging is very disappointing. I’m not sure if “scanted” is another language or a misprint but nevertheless this is getting returned.

The packaging is also beautifully opened. Candles smell good.The appearance of the candle very beautiful to be placed at home, it can also be a decoration.

If you were looking to gift these, don't. The box (of four) that they are sent in say "Scanted Candles." And...there is practically no scent to the votives. I would not have bought them if I knew that they were produced in China. Another reason for me to not shop after I have been drinking wine. I didn't check.

I like these candles. None of them have overwhelming scents. There is a huge typo on the box, but that doesn't take away from the candles themselves. However, if you order these as a gift, you might want to move the candles to a different box or bag.

I ordered these thinking I was getting a set of 4 lavender vanilla scented candles based on the item title, but the box I received had 4 candles each with a different scent. You'll note the 4 different scents (Waving Purple, Drooling Ice Cream, Spring in a Jar and Blooming Heaven) if you look at the picture or get down pretty far into the product details. The waving purple and spring in a jar I liked the scent of, the other two not so much. The scents on all of them seem pretty strong just out of the box.The box says they are "scanted" candles, so don't plan to gift these in the box they come in. They are votive sized candles, to you should be able to get 20 hours of burn time each out of them, which I think is how they get to the 80 hours.If you decide to order them, just hope you like all 4 scents.

These are small little candles packed very nicely and set in small glass jars inside simple but elegant gift box. They are, indeed, elegant -- they look classy and burn slow. The scent is lovely, a little sweet for my personal tastes (not shared by others at my house who find them floral and fragrant), but definitely it gives a scent. Personally, I like a little more contrast than mere overtone, but I would happily gift these – they would make really nice accessories to an outdoor spring or summer night dinner. There are four different scents and they look classy and smell floral. The price can't be beat for a gift that would seem a lot more expensive because it's so elegant looking.

These are nice enough scented candles, but on the small size. Each is approx. 2 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches in height. I use them more for display, than for candles to actually burn. Not sure how long they would last if used for that purpose.
