RubiesRubie's Costume Alien Raver Light-Up Glasses

These are replacing the original sent as the original glasses don’t light up. The replacements are completely scratched all over the place and the battery is corroded. Very disappointed.

We got two pairs for an alien costume. The lights on one were so dim as to be useless, the lights on the other were so bright that you risked having a seizure if you turned them on. Still, I liked the retro-future style of the frames.

Very cute design, would be perfect except lights don't work. Glasses seem fragile to take apart and run on 3 watch batteries, so would be expensive to replace, even if that is the problem (lights could just be broken).

The good: The design is great and when they work, the LEDs in the frames are totally satisfying.The bad:Battery issues. I bought 2 sets of glasses and one worked marginally, the other not at all. The batteries for what ever reason had leaked and corroded in both sets filling the battery compartment with toxic white residue. I removed the batteries and cleaned up the mess with vinegar to neutralize the battery residue, cleaned the terminals, replaced the batteries, and now both sets work well.5 stars if not for the battery issue.

Fun but might cause seizures. HA! Really fun for Halloweening foolishness.

Really disappointing, i needed this for a costume party and the lights dont turn on at all. cheap quality item beware.

These were so much fun on Halloween. I was a martian, and wore these on my head. My friends did not have a hard time finding me HAHA. Also there is a little button on the side where you can adjust the flashing of the lights.

Horrible product. Got a pair and the lights didn’t work. Tried to return it. Amazon sent a replacement pair. The lights don’t work in the replacement pair either. Can’t get a refund on the second pair. Don’t waste your money

I was excited to use these glasses at an upcoming festival however, The batterie and surrounding area was full of corrosion. Also the image shows a black pair of glass with green lights, the glass are all green.

The tag doesn't rip out easily and so you have to unscrew them to turn the lights on. They also look scuffed up.

Lights stopped working within 5 minutes of battery activation (very dim, and worked only intermittently). Bit small for adults costume. :-(
