Not quite as good as a clipbook, but better value for money.
I have both this a5 binder and the one it is emulating (Filofax clipbook) and for the money, the Zhi Jin is a decent buy. Ignoring the Chinese writing on some pages (see below), if you put the Zhi Jin and clipbook next to each other, a third party would be hard-pressed to know which one was more expensive. The Zhi Jin comes well packaged, although the spine on mine was a bit crushed (works itself out after a week or so of use). The big downside is that the maps and stuff at the beginning of the book are all in Chinese (I binned them). The pages that you will be writing on (diary pages etc) are 100% English though, so all good. The pages will fit into a Filofax clipbook (Same hole spacing, close enough a5 size), but note that they are about 3mm smaller in width than the clipbook ones. They are also thinner paper, which may be a quality issue for some, but also means that you can fit more pages in. The Zhi Jin binder is less wide than the clipbook because it doesn't have the huge spine of the clipbook. This makes it smaller but also means you can't fold it right over in the same way you can with a clipbook.Better looking and more versatile than a pad, but not as expensive as competing 'name' options. Plays well with clipbook accessories, including the hole punch.Overall, good value for money.

Excellent notepaper for 6-ring binder
Really handy notepaper for a 6-ring binder. I wanted something in A5 which gave me lined pages in a binder; this (plus a non-branded binder) gives me exactly what I need without costing as much as a Filofax.

perfect
Very nice, arrived next day (prime), used dividers found on amazon also and fit well, stick out slightly but no problem, can write with it flat. love it thank you.

Not perfect for filofax
The product is well made and arrived promptly. However, I bought it on the basis that it can be used to store filofax pages. The large gap in the middle between the rings mean that only 5 out of 6 rings align with the holes, which means the page needs to be cut at the top or bottom where they overlap the last ring. Not ideal. The rings are also relatively small (2cm wide by 1cm high), which contains about half of what a Filofax Domino would. Not the end of the world, I just need to buy more and spread the archives out over a few volumes.I'm still debating whether keeping it or not for that reason. It's not perfect but I'm not sure there's a better alternative out there.

Better than OK
This is a reasonable, if NOT opulent in any way, 6 ring binder, compatible with A5 sized Filofax hole spacing. It has a synthetic, slightly plasticised card feel to it but seems robust. It is functional, with no pockets or other fittings in the cover and quite small for an A5 binder, only extending about 9mm above and below A5 and 1-4mm to the side (depending on the depth of punching). So if you want to use dividers, they would have to be shallow and the type which extend above or below, rather than to the side.It has 22mm rings with twin opening 'buttons' and came complete with a full diary and notes contents plus, I think, a map of the Beijing underground. I did not want these but you may find some of the contents useful. One of the neatest A5 binders as it is little bigger than A5 and only about 25-26mm deep when closed.Recommended with the reservation it is relatively basic

Does the job perfectly.
Works just as well as the (more expensive) branded item.

i can write things in it
Much cheaper than other brands, but nothing wrong with it. There's Chinese on some of the info pages but they can be taken out. I don't think I'll get much use out of the subway map of Shanghai.

Non-standard hole spacing
Took a long time to arrive and now I've got it, it seems to have non-standard hole spacing, so not sure how I am going to be able to get refills for it. Basically an expensive disposable note book.
