Best little needle storage I've ever used.

I hate sewing and only have one of these little sewing kits that budget hotels used to give out for free. Over the years the contents have disappeared down the back of drawers so, when a button fell off my favourite jacket, I decided to invest in some new supplies. I have very poor eyesight so chose this pack as it had a reasonable sized needle eye and the fact that the needles have their own case makes them less likely to get lost. The case is cute but it took me ten minutes to get the biggest needle out of it. For a while, I thought that maybe someone had played a cruel trick and glued them in! I eventually succeeded and was able to sew the aforementioned button back in place. I can envisage people buying this as a stocking filler for an elderly relative, only to have them really struggle to prise a needle from its hole.

Great value for money. Holds the needles very securely and allows you to clearly see what's inside.Many reviewers complained how stiff and difficult it was to open the lid.If you hold base in left hand and pull the top at the point where it meets the base on one side only. NIT in the middle. Then, gently at first pull upwards only at the one side [either left or right) but NOT from the middle, it will open without too much effort. Just take your time. Start off gently and slowly increase the pressure and effort until it opens. Once you get the hang of it you will find it easier each time.

Several sized hand needles in a handy pop-open container.The pebble seemed hard to open at first but once it`s been open/shut a couple of times it eased up.i found the needles easy to extract whereas other people seemed to have had some difficulty.Much better than a tub/tin/paper wrap of needles rolling about in the box or drawer - jut snap the top shut and chuck it anywhere, great !

Used for sewing, of course. The container is a piece of clever design....keeps your needles altogether and easily visible too. Very good range of eye sizes in needles.....excellent. Arrived in good time too.
