Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 4PK-Mixed Media by Tim Holtz, Metal

What can I say about these dies? I am a massive Tim Holtz fan, but these dies in particular are spectacular. They are so versatile and you can really acheive some great results with them on cards and mixed media projects. I made a Scarface lumianry for a friend who is an Al Pacino fan and I used the bubble one on the sides as a bullet hole effect and it really looked amazing - he was so impressed with it. Quality wise they are second to none. I would recommend them highly, a must for any crafter!

I've used all of these thinlets in cards and mixed media projects. They are very useful in the corners of a project, but can be used anywhere. They cut a variety of paper and card thickness. I can imagine using the honeycomb one for a substitute for netting in future projects. They are now a valuable part of my art. The photo shows a card with two of the thinlets used in the corners.

Great dies -cut well and I have been trying to get them for some time. Took a bit longer than I'd hope to arrive but no complaints about the product. They cut out sections of the card to make lovely decorative corners.

I bought these after seeing them used on various craft sites. I must say I was not disappointed when I used them. They cut perfectly (although I did need a shim as my plates are rather worn & slightly bent),but the results are fabulous. I love them!

Have seen these use many times in great designs, they look to be good dies butIi haven't used them yet so can't comment further.

Exactly what you would expect from Sizzix and from Tim Holtz. They are beautiful. I used the lattice corner on Kraft card over a background of cakes and biscuits in pastel colours to make a birthday card and it looked absolutely stunning. If you are a fan of Tim Holtz, you will love these. The size is a little bit deceptive though, they are not as big as perhaps you would imagine.

These dies make a special featured background for my cards. Look forward to trying for craft and scrapbooking too.Especially like the diamond corners, gives a nice shabby chic look to cards. Cuts cleanly too.

Didn't find these worked too well on my 'Big Shot'. They didn't seem to cut all the way through the paper, and were even worse on thin craft card. I do think it's a case of trial and error, so will have another go.
