Amazing product. I like to cycle and clean my bike but somehow i was stingy spending money on stuff like this. I was cleaning my bike in a weekly basis, but thr chain was the one thing i always hated to clean, so it got neglected pretty much all the time, unless i had the patience to clean it, but it wasnt so successful.Now, that i had some spare money, i finally convinced myself to buy this awesome stuff. Even after the first use, i saw my chain is much cleaner, but i had to go through it again. After the second go, i saw the chain's original color. Even though its a cleaner, and supposed to keep the chain in mint condition, it leaves some dirty liquid on it, so you have to go through the chain with a cloth to finish the cleaning procedure. The degreaser lasts for 3 goes as other people mentioned, and provided in certain weather conditions you may have to clean your bike weekly, you might consider ordering a new pack of degreaser as well along with this product

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much and thought I had probably wasted some money here but was pleasantly surprised. Works very we4ll and cleans the chain beautifully without making much mess. Bottle of cleaner could be bigger but actual cleaner is fairly robust and very efficient. Those who cycle on muddy roads/fields should consider this.

The tool is superb. Very well made, robust, comes with good instructions and does a great job of cleaning crud out of your chain. You may need to experiment with which gear you have the bike in before you start back pedalling, the chain needs to be as straight as possible, but overall very impressed.The degreaser that comes in this kit however, is not something I would recommend or ever buy again. It arrived in a separated state, very thin liquid with lumps of what felt like soap, some of which were so large as to clog the bottle. No amount of shaking the bottle would remedy this. Don't get me wrong, it did work to clean the chain, but because of the lumps it wouldn't pour cleanly into the tool (I went to pour it not realising how lumpy it was) and things got very messy very quickly. I still have lumps of degreaser down between the block paving on my driveway from several weeks ago when I used it.Buy the tool, use a different degreaser, and you'll be sorted.

I commute everyday and it is important to clean your chain on a regular basis and depending on the amount of muck that gets caught up in my chain I try to clean it once a month, although I do find myself cleaning once every two months... This product really helps with maintaining the bike and I can be rest assured that the longevity of the bike will last a long time. It's the best I can do along with a yearly maintenance with a professional shop. Easy to use and does the job great!

Brilliant.I bike everyday to and from work and the chain gets pretty grubby. For years I very sporadically cleaned my chain and often, at the end of the winter after the salt gritters had done their work, would have to replace the chain.Of course I could/should have cleaned it more often and am sure it would have lasted much longer but it was such a faff.Not anymore. This is a great product, easy to use and gets the chain pretty clean. Recommended!Watch the park tool video instead of reading the guide.

Cleaning a bike chain can be a very messy job if you try it without any specialized equipment. This device simply clamps onto the chain, you fill it with cleaning fluid (very effective) and turn the pedals to run the chain through the plastic box. Be sure to put down some newspaper below the box to protect the floor below from splatters and drips. The result is fabulous. It would have been nice to have a larger bottle of cleaner at the price as the included bottle will probably do only two good cleans.

I've been using this for a few months now, I am happy with this purchase, the bottle will last 3 goes, so depending on the weather will depend on how long it will last, however, if your bicycle is your pride and joy, then looking after it is the top priority. The fill line for the fluid is on the case applied as a sticker, I have also Sharpie pen marked it, just in case it comes off, which is the only downside I have found.I have once put it in the wrong gear while doing this, but I am happy with his purchase. While the cleaning fluid is expensive, I find if it does the job, then it's worth the money.

A bit overkill to have a dedicated tool to clean a bike chain which I don't do that often but this does the job well. The handle attaches to both sides so you can put the chain through in both directions. You don't get much cleaner fluid so its not great value for money. Does the job and providing the gear cleaner/brush is nice to have and saves destroying sponges - so maybe not so bad value.
