Bosmere Garden Care Bamboo Lawn Rake, N654

I was struggling with my old metal pronged rake due to an aching back and shoulder so was after something new. This rake is perfect - it is so lightweight and easy to use it is the best I have ever had. Nothing gets stuck in the prongs as they are wide enough and not sharp so not to pick up anything. I can manage to use this for quite a long time without any aches. I mainly use this for raking up grass after cutting with the ride on and will definatly be using once the leaves fall in the autumn.

Not keen at first as it is rather shoddily made and the tines were a bit random however it has lasted well so far and is very light to use. Just note that the head isn't quite as large as the majority of the plastic ones available but that's not an issue for me.

This is the only bamboo rake I could find.I read the comments before buying it ...so realised that it would be smaller than bamboo rakes I'd used years ago in the US.Already having read the comments...I put a metal hose clamp over the cheap looking metal band that attaches the apex of the bamboo tines to the handle. The metal band doesn't appear very robust. Also the rake handle seems to be bamboo itself,...not a bad thing.)bamboo rakes are excellent for raking leaves, this one should be larger, it does work very well. I'll withold opinion on how long it might last.If it lasts 3 years or more, I'll be happy to buy another!

Fabulous! This rake is light weight and easy to handle, it collects leaf litter without dragging up grass or other plants; with wide ended tines the leaves don't tend to get caught up on the rake either (I find this annoying and fiddly to clear). All in all I am extremely pleased with this product and recommend it to other gardeners with a leaf problem. The long handle also seems to be made of bamboo - I can feel the ridges through the plastic sheath it is encased in. My back is only slightly aching after raking my lawn with this rake as opposed to really painful.

This was fine and did the job... until it broke after a few weeks and max 5 uses of a tiny garden. Don’t recommend

We have 30 trees in the garden and our rakes are very important in Autumn. We have tried loads and this is by far the best. Fast, clean, doesn't 'spear' the leaves when raking so doesn't get clogged up and is super light.Update....we have owned this rake now for 16 months and it has been used solidly for 2 autumns, raking thousands of leaves and is still, by far, the best lawn rake I have used (currently own 5 different rakes)....my partner and i are always fighting over who gets to use the bamboo rake!

I bought this bamboo rake after having used similar in the States. This rake is light and would be perfect for a small property use. This rake lasted me five years with infrequent use. I would recommend

My husband used this rake last week to clear up the mess of leaves that had fallen in our garden over the last few weeks.All in all, he was impressed with the rake as it is relatively sturdy, considering the materials that it is made from, which is bamboo making it a sustainable product which is a plus in my book.Given the low cost of this product I would recommend it as good value for money.
