Alright don't get me wrong love the classic Kong!However I use my dogs Kong's regularly for training and to prevent crate boardum. RUFFWEAR made something fun, vibrant and just enough different to keep the dog mind busy!I bought this for my 60 ibs Boxer/hound mix. He's very active both mentally and physically. He loves his kongs but something about the crazy shape and how it bounces really makes him happy to play with.Pros- This product is super well made with great rubber for the dog to chew on with little to no worries.- You can put treats in to dispense randomly-crazy fun color keeps the dogs attentionCons- (should I say Kong's)- I am hesitant to leave this one alone all day in his crate with him... But he also chews on the Kong extremes (the black ones) so if your dog isn't as aggressive as mine then maybe not a worry.- not as easy to stuff as a traditional Kong. I found I cannot make it a challenge in this toy like I am able to in the Kong with the multiple bump design.Overall we both love it!

I LOVE Ruffwear products and they're always super dependable! We have most of the toys for our 90lb+ power chewing mastiff and this was our Christmas gift addition. She loves to hold it in the side of her mouth like a cigar and chew. The color is somewhere between a deep orange and a brick red. This toy lives at grandmom's for visits because it is smaller, even for a large size, is super easy to rinse off, and bounces randomly but not very high so its equally fun and safe for play in a less dog-friendly space. Would be great for dogs who like stuffable toys like KONG brand but with more versatility for play options and WAYYY more sturdy!

I should probably get a Ruffwear endorsement given how much I recommend these things. NOTHING and I mean nothing lasts like Ruffwear toys. My dog goes through the (supposed) indestructible Kongs in 15 minutes. These last for months with daily, multiple, hours of chewing. Seriously, these are by far the best toys I've ever come across for vigorous chewers. My German Shepherd adores them. Usually companies just make toys super hard so that a dog can't destroy it but my dog isn't interested in those chew toys. I don't blame him, really where is the satisfaction in chewing what basically amounts to a rock? Whatever Ruffwear has done to create a rubber that has give but doesn't puncture, I'm glad. It's the Mama Bear of balls, not too soft and not to hard all while being incredibly durable. I recommend them to anyone I know that has a crazy chewer like my Shepherd!

The length of this toy is about 4” and it’s 3” wide. The opening is about and inch. It’s a very large toy and would be better suited for a big dog. I put peanut butter inside and a lot of it got pushed back to the end. My dog's tongue can’t reach that far so it wastes a lot of the treat for us. He is 27 lbs with a fairly small mouth. The material seems to be holding up. I had to switch because my dog has chewed through several Kongs. If I could get a smaller size this would be higher rated.

I have a dog that loves to chew. To satisfy his chewing needs, I buy toys that I can stuff with wet dog food and freeze. I use to exclusively use KONGS - they were durable and held up for years. However, in the past couple of years they started to break down within a month of purchase so I decided to give Ruffwear a try. These toys last forever, are satisfying to chew (not too hard but very durable), and are perfect for filling with treats. I now own 6 of these and have a very happy pooch!

The shape of the Kong presents a challenge to a small dog but they still enjoy rolling and and bouncing it!

I really wanted to love this, as it looked like a great toy with flexible rubber to prevent chipping teeth and is quite to roll around on hardwood floors. But it couldn’t survive a golden retriever. Our boy was so determined to get the treats out, he managed to chew chunks off. Luckily I was watching him at the time, so removed the broken pieces before he accidentally swallowed it.I was really hoping this was tougher, but might stick to a heavy chewer Kong and Goughnuts.

The media could not be loaded.  Our Bulldog chews heavy duty rubber toys to bits in mere hours- these RuffWear toys so far have lasted weeks! And he loves them. Highly recommend!January 2022 update: this toy is still holding out strong. While other chews have broken down and been replaced this one has outlasted them all.

I have waited 7 months to review this item. Despite having a few bite holes, this has stood up to all the almost daily gnawing of my dog who is a top tier chewer and still works as intended. Kong Extremes, while made of tougher material, kept splitting apart where the 'nodes' join. The gentler shape of the Ruffwear product seems to hold together much better.

Habe das Spielzeug bereits in gelb gekauft und nach mehreren Wochen bei täglichem Einsatz hat mein Hund es noch nicht geschafft, es auch nur annähernd zu zerstören oder zerkauen (andere Sachen leben max. 10 min - unter anderem auch der Stick der gleichen Marke). Aus diesem Grund habe ich sein liebstes Kauspielzeug nochmal in rot bestellt, sollte er es doch noch schaffen ;-)wer also ein unkaputtbares Kauspielzeug für seinen besten Freund sucht - von mir klare Kaufempfehlung!

Splendido e industruttibile

Mein Hund liebt(e) seinen Kong. Ich habe den Kong regelmäßig mit Leberwurst und Frischkäse gefüllt und mein Hund war damit gut beschäftigt.Was mich aber immer gestört hat war dieser wirklich starke chemischen Geruch, der vom Kong ausgeht.Daher habe ich ein alternatives Produkt gesucht und bin dabei auf dieses Spielzeug für Ruffwear gestoßen.Bestehen aus Naturkautschuk ist es um längen gesünder!Mir gefällt das Design und auch füllen lässt sich wunderbar! Mein Hund ist zufrieden und ich bin es auch! 🙂
