This book is an excellent book with pictures in the chapters and a summary of the chapter. Pottery has been around for a long time and this how our ancestors carry water, cook food and stored food. This book shows the reader what type of clay to use, tools to use, a wheel to make the pottery, different types of kilns and glazes for the finished touch.

This book is like a bundle. It explains from the elements or tools, how to take care of the space, to how to have a proper studio or project suggestions. In my case, I loved it. I consider it to be very good.

When I was little I took a course to learn to paint ceramics and I love it, and now being able to make my own ceramics to draw is a dream, I really liked this book, I learned what I needed to start my own pottery

I'm learning to hand-built basic mugs with the designs that I like the most, thanks to this practical guide. Besides, I plan to get more materials to mold more pieces of art. I hope it goes well and I also can make some pretty earrings.

It was a great book, the techniques for pottery and potteery tools you should know about as a beginner they are given and specified here and very explicit for you to start with your first steps in pottery.

I got this book for my mom. for some time now, she has been interested in learning about pottery, and I think this book is great for her to dive into that world, because it is especially for beginners. So, she can learn, step-by-step, and discover her abilities and put it into her own artwork.

Read the reviews on this book & thought it would be a good addition to the ones I already had. Sadly I was really disappointed, its very thin & the paper isnt great quality. A book that demonstrates a skill needs to have clear photographs or diagrams. This doesn't, its black & white pictures. Returned

This book is really badly written. It’s almost as though it’s been written by an AI. It has no colour photos! It’s thin with only 105 pages and the writing spaced out on each page, very light on any detail. There are far better books for beginners out there. I was very disappointed and will be returning it.

I have always wanted to enter the wonderful world of ceramics and make creations by hand. Being a complete beginner, I wanted to buy this book to get started. After an interesting introductory guide on the history of this art, we move on to inspiring projects and tips on equipment, technique, types of clay and creating a workspace, the instructions on glazing and decorative techniques are clearly explained. I was pleased to discover that modelling tools are not expensive and I can't wait to get to work!

Very useful book for those who want to learn the art of modeling. In my opinion, combining such a book with tutorial videos is perfect for understanding what to do and not to do. I am passionate about everything that is manual work and I always try to keep myself updated.I hope I can learn sooner or later.
