Firm hold, nice fragrance, can’t go wrong.
Strong wax, needs some manipulation between the fingers before applying but has a good hold and a pleasant smell. Far better than some others on sale on Amazon.

Does the job
Looking at the 'tache at the start of the year, I thought "It needs a trim... Unless I try styling it. Why have I never thought of waxing it before?!" Ridiculous, really; I've had one since I could grow one, which is more years than I care to admit here. But I'd never thought of trying to wax it. You can get almost anything on Amazon these days, can't you? Yep!It very quickly becomes apparent that moustache products come in one flavour - faux Victorian. Even some of the reviewers have caught the bug. I settled on trying this one & the Bounder. The Clubman reviews seemed, on the whole, to be a shade more critical. Being a first-time waxer, I've left it a few weeks before commenting here. I'm still not entirely convinced about waxing, but that's not a reflection on the product. It's a very firm wax, but pleasantly and (importantly) gently scented. This is going to be under your nose all day, you really don't want something that smells like a tart's boudoir! Sorry, my one descent into faux-V, honest, guv...The firmness of the wax strikes me as an advantage as much as a fault. I gather that it's all too easy to end up with too much wax & unsightly results. It's a little like adding salt to food - you can add a little, add a little, until you get the right amount. If you put too much in, it's a lot more awkward getting it out again. So if it takes a little rubbing to build up a layer of wax on your finger, at least you're not slapping it on like greasepaint! One trick I've found quite useful is to work it in starting from the lip & working up, rather than from the nose, working down. You're not smearing wax on your skin instead of the hair, it makes it easier to work into the tips of the hair & the body of the moustache from below and, at the end or rather the beginning of the day, it's the bottom of the thing that you want to style away from your mouth, so you'd surely rather have more of the wax below than above. When all is said & done, it's scented wax. I find it hard to get terribly excited about scented wax. It's a perfectly good product that does the job you want perfectly well, in that it holds your moustache in place without reeking all day (I have a marginal preference for the simpler scent of this over the slightly less firm Bounder). That, to me, is 4, rather than 5 stars. Besides, a proper Englishman maintains a proper reserve at all times & doesn't get over-excited. Demmit! I just descended into faux-V again, didn't I...

What Hi' Chaps!
Well then. This is the first stache wax I've purchased and without anything to compare it to I would say its pretty smashing! I've been experimenting with facial hair ever since I could grow it and been though mu fair share of beards chops etc but never really taken on the challenge of a classic moustache, I used to trim my lip hair when it dropped below the upper lip and started becoming part of my daily meals... HOWEVER! this is no longer a problem as I now have my upper lip appendage growing well on its way to the title of a mighty tash and with the help of Captain Fawcett I have managed to maintain my stache very well indeed.Pros and consInitially I thought this wax was leaving an almost dandruff like feauture however after working the wax into the stache it looks very natural.I've been testing it over the last few days starting out with very little then working a bit more into it. Each to their own some people need more wax some people need less. It's much like sorting out you'r hair with wax or gel, you eventually get the idea through trial and error. It is very stiff stuff! A constistant product not oily or goopey in any way, Its wax there is no doubt about it take small amounts instead of big dollops!I found having a sink of warm water helped by this I mean after getting the wax on you'r finger tips take a very light dab of water on the ends of them. Not sure how well it will hold the tips of the tash, I've yet to experiment with defining a point at each end but its pretty stiff stuff like I said so I'm sure it would work well. Not sure how long it lasts, It generally keeps the hair from dropping onto the upper lip, keeps its shape very well. but it does get dryer over the day. I let it dry naturally not blow dried. but the tips of the tash have not stayed as sharp as they have been at the start of the day.I hope this was all of use to someone. All in all I would say this is a good product, I read other reviews first and this seemed the way to go.Thanks for reading =]

nauseating smell
Never in a million years I would guess that this smell is a citrus or cedar, it's just smells parfumy which I find nauseating. On a good side wax hold shape pretty good, next time I will buy odorless.
