This is an extremely good shower and my first foray into thermostatic showers. I've used them in the past at hotels etc and always seen the Grohe brand around and associated it with premium quality. I wasn't wrong, it is fantastic.Build wise, the shower looks and feels every bit high end once installed. Although I had someone install it they told me it was one of the easier ones to fit.The thermostatic valve is solid and gives you essentially two controls to contend with. The rain head or spray head on the one side and temperature on the other. When you first turn it on it'll automatically go to 38c. From there you can make it hotter or colder. For me 38 has been perfect but depends what you want.The rain head although smaller than most I looked at is slightly curved and to be fair really does kick a lot of water out. It's fantastic.The shower head has a wider rain setting and a smaller jet setting and you can adjust between the two. Both heads are lovely to shower under. The shower head and indeed rain head are easy to clean. I just wipe a finger over and I'm done.I've had to buy all new as part of a house renovation and this is one of my better purchases. Looks, feels and runs fantastic. I live in a 100 yr old semi and it powers fine off a standard mid range boiler.Very happy!

I can't explain how happy I am that I purchased this set. Lots and lots of research and after reading so many reviews about other showers made me order this one. Installation is very simple, but I recommend to get a plumber to install this. Make sure you have the hot water on the left, very very important, as the thermostat is only going to work if you have it that way. Otherwise you need to buy a reversed thermostat which is pretty expensive. Been using the shower now for the last 3 months and I am really impressed how easy is to clean and maintain. The thermostat works very well even when we turn on the hot water in the kitchen, it kicks in and adjusts the hot water to have the same temperature. Highly recommend this.

Posting a review because I can never find a review for a thermostatic shower powered by an OIL combi boiler. We have an elderly oil combi which pumps out just 6 litres of (very hot) water a minute. Our water pressure is okay. It took me ages to decide which shower to buy as these showers require a 'fully modulating' boiler, which oil boilers don't do (I think there's maybe one brand which does and it's not ours). So I went for this which has a smaller than usual rain head, the rationale being that I'd get a more powerful shower with the low flow rate.It's great so far. The rain head is lovely and the handset is quite powerful actually. I think if we had a newer boiler then it may possibly be too powerful - I mean, I like a power shower but one which takes off your nipples may not be so pleasant. The water temperature is easily controlable and responsive. A previous review said it's impossible to get it the right temperature. That sounds like a faulty valve which our last shower had, there's no such problem with this one.You can adjust the flow rate to either the rain head or the handset using the left hand knob. So if you need a hotter, less powerful shower - as perhaps those people with an elderly combi boiler will appreciate - then it's possible with this shower. Another review mentioned that you need to kind of click the knob up/down until the button clicks to turn it off properly. Yeah, I guess this is kind of true but you get used to it.I'm giving this shower four stars for two reasons, both fairly minor and both which have come up in other reviews. If you have soapy hands then it could be difficult to turn the knobs as they have no grips on them. And the handset is plastic. I mean, it's lovely shiny plastic and you can't tell just by looking at it, but it's plastic nonetheless. But don't let this put you off it. It's a great shower.

First time buying a Grohe system and very glad I did. I've bought a lot of cheaper shower systems that looked great but performed terribly. I learnt not to cut corners with things you use everyday when I saw how much time and money I wasted getting plumbers in to repair faulty systems.Main things that make this stand out are:1) Smooth responsive mixer system for a quick and reliable change in water temperature (rather then spikes of extreme heat or cold)2) durable construction and parts built to last3) silicone shower head to make removing limescale a piece of cake4) sealed hosepipe for easy wipe down and preventing that horrible limescale build up with most standard shower pipesFinally, the hand mixer has 3 settings, one of which is a powerful jet mode which feels like a massage. Water output is good - it's a rain effect so not super powerful but still plenty for a daily wash. Grohe is the way to go!

Fabulous showerI have stayed in so many hotels with Grohe showers, that I had to buy one. They are bullet proof, look great and work perfectly. The rain shower head is so lovely, not too torrential; the shower head has more power if you want it. The controls are wonderful after a bath tap set up in the old bathroom where temperatures were hit and miss.It was pretty easy to fit according to my plumber, he did say speed fittings would have been better, so he fitted those instead. The only problem I had was the height of my bathroom. I did not read the 108cm range needed from the controls to the shower head and we put the pipes to high to begin with. My fault not theirs, just be aware if you are fitting this into a smaller room like mine.Almost two years later, this looks as good as the day it was fitted. My partner loves a much hotter shower than I do, so being able to change the temperature with such ease, speed and accuracy is brilliant. The old mixer shower thing was such an effort to get any other heat setting, you each put up with it or got grumpy if the temperature was changed as this resulted in 5 minutes of finite changes.I won't buy another make of shower.

Puedes abrir el agua por arriba subiendo el regulador de la izquierda, por abajo bajándolo, o si lo dejas en medio el regulador, se cierra el agua, pero no puedes abrir el agua, y para conmutar, darle a algún botón como en todo lo que había visto hasta ahora.Bueno, de momento, por la marca y por lo que cuesta, espero que esté a la altura, y en unos años, tenga que comerme mis palabras de que no me ha convencido el sistema de regular por dónde sale o deja de salir el agua.

Très bon produit.La pose est très facile. Le mitigeur thermostatique très efficace. La commande vers la douchette ou la douche très simple.La douchette comporte 4 positions de jet du plus large au plus concentré.La pomme de douche est excellente, très bonne taille suffisante pour un grand confort/plaisir et pas trop grande pour ne pas surconsommer.Le PRIX est tout simplement SUPER.
