WowWee MIP Coder Toy

A really good robot. We have just been playing with it for over 40 minutes and it still hasn't ran out of battery. The app is very simple to use. The only thing frustrating is when it kept falling on it's back, it lost connection to the app. I stuck a small felt pad to it's back and now when it falls over it still stays connected. I think the fall onto a hard wooden floor was damaging the robot.

I just love this little robot. My son got it about a year ago and he plays with it a lot. The coding part on the remote is not difficult at all for a 6 year old.

Great fun! Small, but more fun that other robots. It can do surprisingly many tasks, I prefer this above other bigger robots that can do noting but walk, burp and fart... :-)Works better than any other "advanced" toy we have tried. Hand gestures are a bit inaccurate, but not a big problem. Have not tried the coding-features yet, but they seem fun as well.

This is the third mip toy that my son has got and his favourite it works really well and has lots of extra features over the normal robot

After a minute of use app on Amazon Fire keeps insisting on an update. So can't use MIP or tablet for well over 10mins while it forces the update... Not option to cancel or postpone and already the same firmware update.

Great toy. Temperamental a little bit in its controls but otherwise provides hours of fun. Manual that comes with it is not very useful.

Product arrived but is faulty. The robot dies not balance and the instruction manual is very light on information. After googling for answers, because I could get no help from Amazon so far, it seems the toy is faulty. Either the rechargeable battery is faulty or the actual mechanisms inside the robot, but it does not balance at all. I have tried to send emails and contact Amazon, but I got no response. Eventually the "Returns Window" closed and now i am stuck with a faulty toy that ruined Christmas. Nice one.I keep Googling, but no one can explain to me why this robot can't stand up other than possibly a faulty Gyro or other faulty part. Totally not happy with this purchase.

Mi hijo había pedido un robot a los reyes magos y como se ha portado muy bien le han traído el Wow Wee Coder Mip. El robot está genial y en especial este modelo trae algunos extras: una rampa, ruedas de goma y sobre todo la más importante para mí, una batería recargable.Además a diferencia de los modelos blancos y negros también trae la posibilidad de programar secuencialmente una seria de acciones que el robot realizara mediante una aplicación llamada Coder Mip.

Interesting concept. It is funny how it keeps it's balance on 2 wheels. You need to keep it vertical until it reaches balance. The robot is a little bigger than I expected.The charging instruction to remove the battery is strange. The charging socket is available without unscrewing, however it's not clear from the lights when it charges. Anyway, you need to keep it off for changing.You can use 2 apps, one for just controlling it (like the non-programming model), the other for programming it. The programming API is rather basic, I expected it to allow more control.
