I've bought this set a couple times over the years and they never disappoint. Honestly the best food colouring I've used, especially for baking - cakes come out so bright!Easy to use and really potent, you don't have to use much to get the desired effect unlike the bottles of liquid colouring you can buy. 100% recommend.

These gels are amazing for baking, they give you the bold colour you want without compromising the taste of the cake.The gels are much more powerful that the supermarket food colourings, they give you such bright and amazing colours. And you only need the slightest drop to colour your baking.I really mean the slightest drop, you can stick a toothpick in the tub and come out with the slightest drop of green and stir it into your baking and it will come out minty green like a dream.Obviously, larger bakes might need two drops, but don't go in with a spoon and turn half the jar into your baking, that would be crackers and far too much. These babies go a long way.For making them last longer, follow the advice of no double-dipping the jars, if you need more colour, use a fresh utensils otherwise you run the risk of coming back to a furry growth of disease when you next use them.Fab colours - when these run out, I will be ordering again

I've used these before. They're really thick, so good to colour ready to roll icing, either for covering a cake or for making decorations for cupcakes etc. You can also use this to colour buttercream. Use a clean toothpick each time so you are not getting any icing etc in the tub, to ensure it lasts long. Good vibrant colours, which are as expected. These also tend to be vegetarian friendly, which is great.

I live in the UK where finding any decent food colouring is a nightmare, every time you use a gel or store brought food colour you end up with a faded look to it and makes the colour look so sad. I once made a purple cake for Halloween and it came out grey and I used ALOT of purple gel. I am very, very happy with these colours. You only need a little bit and boom colour. I brought these as I tend to make seasonal cakes and birthday cakes at home for my family and though I would not usually spend this much money on food colouring I saw it as an investment to a years of baking with nice bold colours rather then buying the gels and getting frustrated the red sponge came out pink again. I do have to admit though there is a faint taste if you use too much and be careful when using them, the colours are bright and your tea towel needs to be on standby if you get it anywhere but the bowl and especially on your clothing.

Really vivid colours in sponge, buttercream and fondant. Only a tiny bit needed so will last ages!! Doesnt effect the taste at all. Such good value for money!!

Brilliant product. I have tried many different gels and food colourings to attempt colourful cakes and they have always looked dull and anything but bright.These gels are perfect, you don't need much and the colour in the mix is pretty much the colour you get. All I will say is you really don't need as much blue and purple. I think I put too much in my mix.The gels dont affect the taste of the cake either as I have found withh some other colourings.I would definitely recommend this

absolutely perfect paste! i made rainbow cakes for my kids and family and the results were so good. the olours are awesome. not happy with purple colour though as its not bright or vibrant. its very dull and looks dark grey. i gave my 1 year old some and the next day she pooped..her poop was the colours of the cake and it stained her bum with colouring. other than that its great!
