Ripped: A Steamy Stand-Alone Sports Romance (Shattered Hearts Book 7)

Firstly this was a wonderful surprise, I thought it had been shelved, so when it was announced about its release I was chuffed to get more Adam, as I had been #TeamAdam from the beginning.Although everything worked out just as it should have, I always loved Adam. Has my view of Adam changed after reading the follow up to his beginnings.Yes it had, I think that Adam seems to have lost a little bit of his spark, he really does love Lyndsey, Kaia & Mila but he came across as if there was something missing.I honestly thought it might have had something to do with Chris and Claire. I am pleased we got a brief mention of them, but quite rightly so, this is all about Adam and Lyndsey.We find out that they are expecting again, Awe, so sweet and with Adam chasing after World Championships which really puts a strain on their marriage. Throw Yuri and Lena's troubled situation and it clearly was a recipe for disaster.I loved how Adam selfishly kept putting himself above everyone elses dreams, only to learn some very hard truths from his 2 daughters.I loved how cheesy Adam is, and how different both little girls were they really kept him grounded.I also liked that we also got Lynsdeys POV too, she was also having personal issues and had been very unselfish with her wants and needs as far as Adam went.This story, zoned in on Adam and Lyndsey with how much they love each other, how their two girls kept them grounded and with the help of family and friends got through some tough times.He was,as always, honest if he screwed up, but their love kept on coming up as the most important thing that they shared. They both had moments of insecurity but thankfully worked through them.Great story, had me turning the pages.

Oh my goodness I don't know what I want to say first first, Cassia Leo has given us (Shattered Hearts for well over 2 years and I will never forget any of the stories, not only are they fantastically written but it's the emotional heartbreak that comes with each book that really gets to you.We remember all to well what Claire and Chris went through and Of course Adam has always been apart of the storyline on and off for obvious reasons so when I realised Ripped was Adam and Lindsay's book I couldn't wait to read it and just as I expected, it was brilliant.From the very beginning you had a slight feeling of hesitation, Adam and Lindsay were so perfect together, loved each other unconditionally but he also loved his surfing and as it started to come between them you started to wonder if their relationship would survive, was he about to choose his career over his family.This story had me feeling nervous plenty of times one because Adam and Lindsay both had their own POV so you knew what each of them were thinking and especially with Adam, he was holding back on his thoughts and intentions about his Surfing career and the second reason was his relationship with Lena that had me imagining all sorts especially when she confessed that she wanted children, I honestly thought something was going to happen between them , I thought please don't sleep with her and get her pregnant, I could just see it happening but you know that's what Cassia Leo does she kind of tortures you like that and of course let's not forget that there was always an element of danger that came with surfing and that something could happen to him.Cassia Leo always manages to create so many mixed emotions in her stories and we had that in Ripped too, Lindsay kicking him out and then when the Twins were being born and he wasn't there, oh dear, I thought she wasn't going to talk to him, thankfully she did and from that moment on it was pure bliss, we got what we wanted and Adam got his boys so, along with his girls everything was beautifully balanced.. Excellent epilogue.!This has been a fantastic emotionally charged series and I remember it very well especially Chasing Abbey (book 6) that was beyond heartbreaking for a whole host of reasons, I'm just wondering if there is room for another story in this series.. I hope so.!!Love this Author..!!

Brilliant.Once started reading it couldn't put it down.Had to go on and read the next two books!

I was so excited to hear Adam was getting his own book, I have likes Adam from the shattered hears books but i was alway team Chris. But I always felt there was more to him and he is just a character that will keep on giving, and this is definitely what you get when you read this book. His bad jokes always make me smile. I just love it.

More Adam!! I have always been Team Adam even I did love all the other characters. I was so surprised by this book. When I saw, I jumped up and down. Adam and Lindsey still had a lot to figure out in their relationship and there is still angst and love and of course Adam's famous jokes will give you laughs through out the book. This is a great addition to the Shattered Heart series. I could not recommend it more. Love love love

I was beyond thrilled when I found out Cassia was finally going to give us Adam's story. I fell in love with him when I first read Relentless and was so hoping he would finally get his own HEA after everything he went through with Claire. Ripped takes us on a journey through Adam and Lindsay's life years later. They both go through many ups and downs but their love for each carries them through it all. This book took me on quite an emotional rollercoaster and I loved every second of it. I loved all of Adam's corny jokes throughout the book. I am so happy with the way Adam's life turned out and I can't wait for everyone to read this amazing book.
